Something tells me he wouldn't have brought this up had LeBron stayed

Do you have a link? Because he is known for his silly homeristic jokes and stuff. So, I want to read the entire context, before saying what his intent was.

You are sure he wasn't being sarcastic and snarky as he is 80% of the time? As Usual Suspects said it would be helpful if you had the clip or the transcript of what exactly he said.

He tried to couch it as some silly tongue-in-cheek stuff by announcing the segment as "reckless speculation," but it did sound like a serious thought from him.

He said it on ESPN Radio. His show's still on http://espn.go.com/espnradio/ but you wont find a link to a quote.

He's just saying what folks are thinking. Major weight loss in the off-season and then constant injuries - takes two weeks off mid-season to go back down to South Beach and comes back completely new man...

So it's a complete coincidence that Lebron has a MASSIVE weight loss the off-season before the first HGH testing begins?

Does this look natural to you?

I've kept hearing this brought up as a fact, that this was the first year the NBA started testing for HGH. Is that actually true? you'd think that would make bigger news outside of message boards and the like?

I don't remember hearing an official announcement.

for the people say he got it in Miami.

He could have gotten it anywhere, with how prevalent doping still is in track field, theres no reason he had to go to Miami to get it.

And please don't even try to bring up that lame incarcerated Bob story about " a Mr. Paul picking up steroids/HGH for a client L.J. " its unbelievable that a star would be that carelessly transparent...look at all the stuff Armstrong did to remain clean to the officials

I don't 100% deny that juicing is prevalent in the NBA but if it was there's no reason to speculate because "hey its Miami that's were A - Rod got his" , no other city on this earth possesses it.

If he was juicing he could have gotten the steroids/HGH from anywhere

If he got them, I doubt it was while he was in Miami, likely James just wanted to relax on his vacation/injury and got healthy. Furthermore the delay doesn't make sense as the NBA still has really lax guidelines and it would make more sense to juice sooner than later especially with his team slipping early on.

LOL at people who don't think LeBron (and others) were on HGH.

It's literally the most obvious "secret" in the NBA

Would need to know the context of how it was discussed on Lebatard's show. Its' all specualtion but if I was guessing which guys in the NBA may be using HGH LeBron would be on the list.

I don't know how HGH is administered but it's very possible you need correct dosage/specialists in order to make it both effective and hard to detect in drug tests.

and it was possible LeBron wanted to see how he would play w/o PEDs at first, but once the season became desperate he decided to get back on the regimen.

I, like others in this thread, haven't heard it so don't have context, but even without it, it's totally fair. There's obvious questions there. Wouldn't be surprised if ESPN suspended him though.

You go to trusted source - this ever got out and his career and legacy would be ruined. If true, there would probably only be 2-3 people in the world who would know - Lebron, the doctor, and an intermediary for James. You don't want to start bringing in new people as it greatly increases the likelihood of getting caught.
