Which good PG's could I get for this package?

Post#1 » by RexBoyWonder » Mon Jan 26, 2015 6:40 pm

Heat offer any desired combination of these pieces :

2017 first round pick
Shabazz Napier
Josh McRoberts
Janes Ennis
Mario Chalmers
Norris Cole

Needed in return: a good starting PG for the present and future.

This isn't real far off the value in the Rondo deal.

Napier + first to OKC for Jackson? If I'm OKC I do that.

Jose Calderon. Just the expirings, no picks needed.

If you send McRoberts to a team like Charlotte for a different asset, you are getting close to Lawson's value. But take out Chalmers and maybe even Cole. Chalmers doesn't have positive trade value.

Not bad, are Heat fans interested?

Overpay for Jackson IMO, who will be looking for a big payday next year and will likely get overpaid by some horrible franchise (Who said knicks?).

B.Knight For Rio and Napier maybe? Or Rio + 2017 pick? Makes sense for Bucks if they don't plan on keeping him.

Chalmers has negative trade value.

I'd only do it as OKC if I believe I can turn those around with perkins for an upgrade at center personally. It's a future asset move and they need to be completely focused on winning a title before KD's contract runs out.

It really depends on what protections you put on that pick. It could be quite valuable. Problem is the rest of the guys you listed have minimal value at best (Napier, Ennis) or no value to negative value (the rest).

We'll have to kick some more Pacer ass to teach you about our value then.

Maybe you should grow up a bit before you come around the trade forum. He had a well reasoned, fair response, and you have a bratty response because, well, only you can answer that.

What does that have to do with anything? This is what was listed:

Shabazz Napier - late pick 23 year old rookie who was picked higher than he should have been to placate Lebron shooting 38%.
Josh McRoberts - out for the year and on a 4 year deal. Journeyman role player when healthy who had one good season as a perfect fit in Charlotte.
Janes Ennis - 24 year old rookie averaging 4 points on 40% shooting.

And Chalmers/Cole who Heat fans have been more critical about than anyone else and are willing to give up for nothing. There's almost zero value there.

No. Post like this don't add to the discussion, and are inherently hostile. Please refrain from posting like this again. Thanks.

If OKC can get Prigs for a 2nd from the Knicks I'm pretty down with Napier+1st for RJ, but I love Bazz. I would rather have Whiteside than the 1st, but he should be pretty untouchable at the moment. Hell I'd do RJ for Whiteside probably.

Really want a big in any RJ deal though. If OKC could route Perk and the 1st for a backup C and some savings that would be pretty solid overall.

Whiteside is untouchable. His contract until summer 2016 is incredibly low. I am open to flipping Napier but I'm dubious that RJ will return to the HEAT next season if another team offers him a fat contract.

I think everyone understands that until Whitesode either plateaus or regresses, there's simply no way he's traded the way he's been playing this season.

Also, RJ is a restricted free agent, so no matter the fat contract, you could match.

he also CANT get traded... too new.

I would do Calderon for Napier+McRoberts.

In other news...
Maybe something for George Hill?
