Ive hated on Knight most of the season but I dont think I trade him for Noah Vonleh... Maybe if it was Vonleh and PJ Hairston or find a way to get Zeller in the deal as well but not straight up.

What about Brandon Knight to Houston? Being on the end of his current deal allows Houston flexibility for the summer.

Brandon Knight has had a nice season, but he’s a notch below these guys at creating shots for teammates. Opponents have blitzed the Bucks with Knight on the floor; Milwaukee’s strong bench has been perhaps the most important ingredient in the team’s .500 record.

So he's a notch below being an All-Star at 22 or 23 or whatever he is? I'll take it.

Brandon Jennings was that at 20-21

I think there is some opportunity there, but not sure there is enough for both sides to feel like they are getting enough value;

HOU IN: Knight, Ersan, JOB

MKE IN: Crawford, DMO, Beverly

Anyway, something like that.

I'd like to keep Bev, if possible. Shved is on the Rockets roster and matches up with Knight financially.

Yeah, that removes a pretty good component from the deal for us then....If Bev was out and Shved in, would you add Capela or Jones to the mix?

Not Jones. You like Bev more than Shved for the Bucks? Don't get me wrong, I love Bev too, but he's playing with Harden. I'm not sure Beverley changes things for Milwaukee. Both guys are 26.

Rockets have the Pelicans pick too. I'd dig a Shved/Pel pick for Knight. Personally I'd love to see Canaan get a shot in Milwaukee too.

With Lasry saying definitively that we will keep Knight I imagine a deal with Brandon is (perhaps unfortunately) very unlikely.

Of course we still don't know him so well as an owner yet. Maybe Lasry is just the poker-playing type in this regard -- and / or maybe a better trade target becomes available for him than we'd otherwise forsee.

Either way, I do think (or hope) that our front office recognizes that Knight is not a PG. If so, you would think that us seeing how he plays primarily at SG would be considered important for how we value what we're willing to pay him.

Then again I really don't know why we didn't put more of an onus on this before Marshall went down as is.

If the draft was today, Pels would pick 14th.

It wouldn't happen but I'd do Knight or Schved/Pels pick. They will likely pick 13/14.

Trading Knight for the Pelicans pick + whatever for would be a huge change in direction for us.

But if Lasry really is playing poker with his Knight talk I don't know if we'd be getting any better of an offer. It might not even be available (yet at least) if the Rockets are still holding out hope for Goran Dragic.

In terms of what the deal might specifically be, how do we think Houston and Milwaukee would value Clint Capela?

I kind of like it for both teams, but as a Bucks fan, I'd like to see Canaan get there too somehow. Rockets run Knight and Harden together with Bev on the bench while Bucks get a look at Shved and the Pelicans pick.

For what it's worth, McHale is in love with Shved and Canaan has lost all his minutes despite being a fantastic spark off the bench. I personally haven't seen enough of Shved to make a real call on him long-term. I love the way he plays but he's not a great finisher.

I guess I don't see Shved having any value (maybe that is wrong), and I've seen enough guys around here think Bev could be a good fit here. Regardless, if that Pelican pick is in play, I am sure the number of options increase significantly.

Please tell me that the Bucks trading Brandon Jennings isn't what turned you into a Rockets fan.

I don't think Goran gets traded during the season. Morey has tried but Phoenix is still in the race at this point so I think Dragic will leave on his own. Possibly to the Rockets which is why Knight's deal is important as expiring.

Capela has been called up a couple times after nice showings in the Ds but is very, very raw. I imagine the Rockets like him a bit since there is nothing behind Howard at this point.

Plus Shved might actually be a nice piece for Milwaukee as a distributor. He's a decent shooter and has some size but he struggles to finish with a good %. Canaan would be a tremendous prospect for Milwaukee imo.

Shved isn't much of an asset, he's basically filler. By himself he's maybe worth a future 2nd. I do think he could possibly up his value here, but he's already 26, it's a long shot that he is anything more than a stop gap. He's the kind of guy the Spurs pick up in free agency and get 10 good minutes out of for $3 million, not someone you build a trade around.

I wouldn't trade Knight for that package, but I value him higher than a lot of you guys do.

The guy I want from the Rockets is DMO. He's a great fit for us.

No man. I've lived in Houston awhile now and have no time to really watch the Bucks anymore whereas the Rockets have captured my heart. Plus I was unfairly suspended from the Bucks forum so I said **** it and made the change.

If it means anything, I'm going to wear a Bucks tie to the game when they're here February 6. Otherwise I've moved on.

I wanted to get a picture with Jabari but I'm going to try to meet Giannis instead. I'll get Jabari next season, but look for the really handsome guy wearing a Bucks tie and sitting with a gorgeous brunette in section 120.

Shved is ok, not great, but not bad either. It'd be about the pick in this deal.

Also, like I said, would love to get another prospect there like Canaan.

DMO is pretty valuable to the Rockets at this point.
