Hornets fan with question
What would be the asking price for David West? I think he would fit into our lineup real well. He went to high school in the area and may like the opportunity to play here

Re: Hornets fan with question
I'm not sure what it would take but I might be little bias here since I'm an IU fan but I love to see Cody Zeller back here in Indiana. I think Zeller and maybe a first rounder would be perfectly fine with me. Not sure if that's too much to ask for but I be very fine with that deal

Yea, throw in a first rounder and I'm perfectly fine with the deal. Get a young piece in Zeller, would be a nice fan favorite here with the Pacers to take West's spot. You guys get a very solid veteran PF in West who brings you guys toughness.

Something like this?
Maybe. It's just that we wouldn't really want to waive 2 guys to do this deal. And we'd want a bit more in value to do so. It's definitely a start.

That would work for me, I'd like Cody on the team as well. Maybe we can somehow sneak the PlumDog back out of Phoenix as well, would make an interesting duo.
Vogel is Dutch for Bird.

A deal that included a 1st and Zeller for West is a no brainer for Indiana I think. Even if you have to waive a couple of guys. If you got Neal, Zeller, Turner and 1st for West it looks to me like there's enough saved to cover the cost of the waived players and Its not like you'd be waiving some budding star.

I don't want to trade West, but if I was gonna I'd want Lance and Cody and a #1 pick. for West and Cope.

I can't imagine any way that we could take on Lance while moving West to do so. Seems like the fox would run loose in the hen house, so to speak.
Otherwise, I'd be fine eating Marvins contract while getting paid to do so. Say, Marvin, Neal, Cody, and a 1st for West, Cope, and Shayne. Or, figure out a way where Charlotte keeps the 1st, and we get Vonleh, while sending any assortment of Watson, Scola, Cope, Ian, Stuckey, and 2nds along with West, while taking any assortment of contracts Charlotte has that won't put us in the luxury tax.
