Questions about Adding Free Agents....

I'm curious about adding current available FA's...

Would we have to cut/waive any players to add some FAs? There are some guys who I don't think would necessarily be a bad look. If we could add CDR and Andray Blatche to our bench I think that would be a pretty good deal. Could probably get them for money.

The roster currently stands at 14 so no we don't have to cut or waive anyone to add a free agent at the moment.
Andray Blatche is a potential addition,and we've been rumored to be interested in him,but we have to wait until he finishes in China before we add him.
He also seems to be interested in us based on re tweeting a tweet about us on Twitter.

that would be too clutch..... I feel like that type of addition can advance us 1 more round. An extra SG would be pretty nice also.

I feel like we should bring back Beasley and bring in Blatche too. Have a team full of knuckleheads. Would make for good entertainment.

In before it locks:

NBA players can't be "added for money". They have to be signed to contracts. Since we are over the cap the only exceptions we have are minimum-salary-exception and the disabled-player-exception that we received for McRoberts.

Minimum Salary depends on the number of years the NBA player has been playing. You can find the chart here:

The disabled player exception is 1/2 of Josh McRoberts's salary: $2.65M

Andray Blatche and Will Bynum will probably be in China until the end of the playoffs (March).

And, as stated, we have to follow the roster limit of 15 players. McRoberts is out but he still uses a space.
