Unless you're getting Charlotte's 1st round pick in return, I would insist on trading Deron instead. Disaster for disaster. Its only fair.

Johnson is a disaster right now

This isn't intended as a shot, but your entire team is a disaster. So of course Johnson's play is gonna suffer. Same thing happened with Teletovic. Everything's relative. All your players are better than what they've shown. The body language between Deron and the rest of the team is just terrible. Until he leaves there will be a cloud hanging over this team. I still think Johnson is a guy you should be looking to keep over Deron. If Charlotte value Teletovic as a true stretch 4 to play next to Big Al, then that might be something to think about.

i disagree. deron and lopez have been like this since coming to brooklyn... no effort, oft injured, and underachievers. joe was better but he has just been run into the ground. KG and plumlee have looked good. anderson and jack are good backups, they arent starters. bogs and karasev are green and not ready for big minutes. teletovic is a 1 tool player

We have parts that would be fine if the three guys making max dollars were worth a damn, but they aren't.

The roster is a disaster because of those three, Johnson gets less blame because at least we know he's broken down due to heavy minutes and usage. Lopez and D-Will are an embarrassment.

Mirza's career may be over.

everyday we dont make a trade just infuriates me even more.

its going to suck we finally make a trade, the team goes on a great tear, but doesnt matter because we dug ourselves to deep a hole and miss the playoffs, then those players all walk in the offseason and we gift atlanta the #7 pick and they take the second coming of wilt or something

When Atlanta beats this group of quitters half to death tonight it will be sobering knowing that Billy King and the idiot Russians paved the way for that team to be built and will also be gifting them a lottery pick in a few months time.

I can't believe we're going to wait until the trade deadline. Awful decision.

I remember when King was hired, and all the warnings came in from Philly fans about him.... and he made that DWill trade and looked like a genius.

And then everything went downhill.

We should make a game out of how much this team will lose by tonight. I'm going to be generous and call a 26 point loss.

Wow! A flip phone!

But seriously, you gotta cut ties with Deron asap. Find a Rudy Gay package somewhere.

And even the D-Will trade, which is regarded as one of the better deals he's made, Utah knew damn well they were selling a bag of hot flaming garbage to the Nets. Utah's GM was waiting patiently for the Melo situation to clear up, ready to pounce on King. King was calling them up about someone else and out of the blue their GM offers D-Will.

King's face was probably like " :o ...um...uh, sure!"

36 point loss, with an epic 2nd qtr collapse that ends the game.
