This guy is morphing into Chris Paul as we speak. In his last 5 games:
37 min, 18.8 pts, 12.2 ast, 5.2 reb, 2 steals, 3.4 tos

All while shooting 51% from the field. Hes also getting to line at a decent clip(5.2 fta) and generally making them(73%), and while he is struggling with his 3pt shot he still has managed to get them up at 2.6 attempts a game.

Damn one board short of a triple double last night.

Always seems like Wall plays great in NY and LA. Kid was born to be a star.

Wall has been fabulous all season long. He is amazing and keeps getting better. He personally carried us to victory against LA when nobody else would step up. I just love everything about his game. His bball IQ is off the charts. He continues to address his few weaknesses in an effort to become a complete player. If he stays healthy, I think he'll have a career that rivals that of Jason Kidd or Gary Payton.

I'm hoping more Isiah Thomas since Payton never won a ring. ;)

Payton won a ring with Miami in 2006.

What I love about Wall is precisely that he wasn't born to be a star.

The odds were stacked against him quite heavily, and what you're seeing him do now is the result of that burning desire to be great, and the hard work he put in to get there.

My favorite Wizard ever, from the moment he stepped onto the court.

Oh yeah Cowherd, sit on a thing that rhymes with prick.

Wall's scoring efficiency has been creeping up. His TS is up to 54% now, tied with Lowry. And it is trending up without the benefit of 3 pointers. I still think he has a bit of a mental issue there.

^Regardless of TS% Wall is clearly better than Lowry at this point, not even arguable anymore.

Lowry had a nice little run there but it's obvious he was playing above his head.

Wall
Teague
Irving
Lowry

have been the top PGs in the East this season

That around where I was saying he needed to get to. That's great news.

And you are right. That's without taking many 3s.

And everyone ahead of his.. 5 players ... are all older except Lillard is the same age.

WallSTAR

Wow.. Westbrook is 37.9 USAGE... That's insane.

Mm yeah I forgot about that, but we won't want Wall winning a ring with another team well past his prime. :D

He has been pump faking off the 3-pt line more than usual lately. He needs to just let them fly, especially from the corners.

http://espn.go.com/nba/player/gamelog/_ ... /john-wall

Wall have been playing some really impressive ball. And in case anyone missed it, he was backing down players several times in the TOR game.

As for the vine. I can think of lots of players that would have got that called a foul.. and 1

Wall game is really rounding out his game nicely. Now he has to find a reliable 3 ball. He doesn't have to shoot it a lot, but it would be great if he can get it up in the .350 range. That would help. He turned 24 in Sept. He is about to reach his prime in the next 2 years.

Should be interesting to see how high he can go before he peaks. So far, he just keeps getting better.

Is Wall in the conversation for MVP? I'm of the belief that this team ain't ish without him.

I agree, this isn't even a playoff team in the east without Wall - in fact, not even close.

He is "in the conversation", but not really a serious pick as THE MVP. There's no way to rank him above Harden and Curry. It would be nice if he could end up being the 3rd or 4th place vote getter, though.

It would have been a helluva combo. Wall's unselfish nature would have been perfect next to Harden's need to dominate the ball.

Harden is the new Gilbert Arenas. He really is.

We need another elite player to pair with Wall. Beal ain't it.

I still have faith in Beal, but I do agree we need one more star to really contend. Gotta be Durant. Come on Kevin, come home, and create a dynasty in your hometown.

Wall is great though. I do think he should be a fringe MVP candidate, like 5th or 6th vote getter(if they even track that far).
