Demar was a horribly inefficient player last year, and continues to be one this season. He does some things well, but he also has a ton of flaws. Whether you want to call him a all-star or not doesn't matter (it's just a silly label). The reality is that he's a good player, but not even close to a great one.
And our record was just over .500 without Demar because we went through the toughest part of our entire schedule during that time. It's more than likely that we would have had the same record with him in the lineup.
WTF are you even talking about? Horribly inefficient?
You are aware that we all watched last season and can verify you haven't even the slightest clue. This site has some of the brightest posters, and some of the dumbest. Guess what side you are on?
According to your sound logic, most SG's in the league are "horribly inefficient" compared to what Demar put up last season. See, if you just spoke to facts, opposed to your silly narrative that is almost insulting in that you might believe I am dumb enough, ignorant enough, and possibly I do not even watch games, that I would mildly accept your absurd opening sentence in your ignorant statement above.
The only thing you accomplished is showing me that you are not worth paying attention to.
You need to stop running your mouth about facts and logic.
http://www.basketball-reference.com/pla ... zde01.htmlTake a look at his FG% for last year, it was his 2nd worst FG% year through his entire career (not counting this terrible year)..
.429 from FG and .303 from 3pt is not horribly inefficient? Okay then.... what does it take?
Rudy Gay the ULTIMATE CHUCKER and CANCER shot .482 FG and .312 3pt for sac after he left that year mid season... This year? Chucker boy Rudy is at .448 and .378 ...
DeMar is not, has not, and will NEVER be an efficient offensive player. PERIOD. Get that through your head. You have a player that can get buckets at a high level and that is literally all. You give him enough shots, you will get enough points...
This year ... .403 fg% and .233 3pt% ... absolutely TERRIBLE. One of THE WORST shooting guards (edit forgot we made him a 3 guard, shouldnt call him a shooting guard anymore) in the league looking at those two numbers in isolation.
