Gallardo didn't seem real happy.....I understand rookie hazing, but thought it was a bush league move on Jenks part....let the kid at least enjoy his night and first TV interview....
That's just ridiculous PP. A pie in the face is bush league? A bit of an overstatement, methinks. If Yo-Go can't handle something as innocent as that, he'll have trouble adjusting to the league. Stuff like that happens all of the time, it's hilarious and builds comradarie.

Yes completely bush league. That happens to all rookies after they have a good game. It happened to Hart after his 2 homer game last year and other teams do it as well.

I was at the game tonight, and the atmosphere was incredible. Near sell out, and the crowd was obviously hyped for Gallardo. I actually appreciated Yost's quick hook for him tonight. He gave them 6 strong, no need to push the issue in his first game. And I missed the pie in the face, but that's hilarious!

He's going to be a good one.
Yes, and the kid can hit. He is going to be nothng short of a top #2 IMHO. That was one of the best times I EVER had at a Brewers game.

For you guys saying Yo can hit, your damn right. Over the last two years combined he's hit:
.311 BA
.354 OBP
.444 SLG
.798 OPS
It definitely shows when he's up there at the plate. He's looking to rip one.
The most interesting thing to me about his game was that he really didn't use the change all that much. He located his fastball and changed speeds really well with that, but I only recall a couple change ups, with one really good one to Bonds that totally fooled him. His curve is nasty.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of his repertoire going forward.
