Was at the game tonight 5th row...all I can say is the fans are terrible. No energy. Zombie-like. Been going to suns games since I was 5...can't remember a worse crowd than this.
But I digress... Back to the "our twins assaulted a guy" discussion

It is funny that our rookies were drafted #14 & #18 and the Spurs drafted Anderson with the last pick of the 1st round.
Also speaking of Green:The San Antonio Spurs have decided not to sign forward JaMychal Green to a second 10-day contract, a source told Yahoo Sports.
At least the Spurs did give him 25 minutes, which is a lot more than we have given any of our 2nd round picks for the past 5 years.
Yea, I think it should been obvious. If he's gonna try and make a smart ass remark with his post, you'd think he would actually put in the research and maybe type in "Spurs 2014-15 rookies" on google or something.
Agreed about the minutes thing. Other than Goran, I can't remember the last 2nd rd pick who got any minutes for the Suns.
BTW not sure why Zelaznyrules deleted his snarly remark quoting you but since your mod, you can probably read it anyway.

I'm factoring in the loss of trade value they will suffer after this incident.
My idea anyways, I don't care what you think lol.
I don't care about yours, either. Unfortunately, you keep getting quoted so I'm forced to see your nonsense.
I don't care that you don't care.
But why you bothered by my trade idea, post your own. I can post any trade ideas ridiculous or not, because I can... It's free to throw ideas around here.
Here's another one.
Morris brothers for Jordan Hill plus remove protection on pick!!
Dragic for Beverly and Jones!!
Free ideas... Doesn't mean they are good. Just because we can.

Marcus I think would be a best fit in Toronto or Houston. Both could use him at the backup 3 spot. Could we trade him for an expiring or a 2nd and salary filler?

I didn't think it was all that snarky but I deleted it because I came to my senses and realized I had no desire to get in the middle of this. But since you've brought me back in, I think you're in the wrong. Not a big "wrong", just a little one. You didn't make yourself clear. For all of us that rush to Basketball Reference to find our facts, there was only one rookie listed in the Spurs current roster and it wasn't Kyle Anderson. It was not unreasonable for him to believe you meant Green. I knew who you meant but we don't all walk around with the same facts in our heads. His comment to you was a little snarky but given that you failed to make yourself clear and it is incumbent on you to do so, your response was a little over the top. All this, of course, JMO.

Well back to the topic of trades, we can't trade just one of the twins, so any of those trades should be out.
I still like trading Green and a pick to Boston for Sullinger. It gives us some room to possibly move both Twins, while giving us a stretch four who can rebound.
In the past month, I've probably created about 7-8 trade scenarios on the Trade Machine involving us getting Sullinger, lol! I'm a big fan and while I don't think he's a futre 1st team All-NBA or anything, I do think he has a lot of potential to be one of the top 7-8 PFs in this league by next season. We should really try to come up with a viable trade idea to get Sully here. IT, Green, and heck, even the Morri, but doubt Boston would want two players on 5 year contracts, regardless of how good a value they are. Same with IT, so yes, Green, and however many picks it takes, would be a good scenario, IMO.

Are the Celtics even trying to trade Sully? I imagine they are keeping him because he's young and still on his rookie contract. That said, if they are trading him, I wouldn't mind trading Green/Plumlee for em and our first round pick.

No, they are not. Just as we can't trade for Cousins, Bosh, Horford, Hayward, etc, we can't trade for him either.

Sulinger isn't available. Why would he be? You think Celtic people don't see the same thing you do? He's been tearing it up since preseason. He's putting up better numbers than amare was his rookie season. Did ANYONE want to trade amare at that time frame?
"Mannnnn I’m like the guy that pissed this whole board off saying literally all year no Mikal, no Mikal in the KD trade."

Well they traded their leading scorer Green, and 10 assist man, Rondo.

Well they traded their leading scorer Green, and 10 assist man, Rondo. So if the price is right, I don't see why they wouldn't move Sullinger. He is down to 30% from three.
Because he is young and they are rebuilding. Rondo and Green are too old/expensive/past their prime once the rebuild is done, hence weren't part of the plan.

Re: Official Trade Thread: The Block Is Hot!!
This team is dying for a TRUE leader both on and off the court. Goran is the closest thing this team has but he is more of a leader by actions. Bledsoe, if he isnt on the court playing, you wouldnt even know he excised. Tucker, "sometimes" tries to be the leader but other players just kinda ya ya him. This team needs a player that when he talks people listen. Just seems to me, there is no real leader in this group. Just a bunch of players that come and play and do what they need to do and leave after the game is over.
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

Yeah, even if we just picked up a vet to provide that. Like when Chauncey Billups went to LA. I wouldn't want someone to take time away from others, but just a positive locker room presence could be good.

That's why I think KG would be great here. He's on an expiring contract too.

Normally, I'd never consider KG. But considering where the Morri are right now and the lack of on-court leadership, we may need a KG.

If the outcome is Marcus being waved, traded, suspended count me as part of the posters that would very much welcome this. I would have liked that pre-incident already anyways...
His trade value wasn't very high, and it certainly isn't now. Would you give away a pick or take on a bad contract to dump him? It might take something like that. We probably are not getting back a useful asset, that's for sure.
Marcus contract is pretty cheap right?
