rondo must be one of the rarest players in history to be a key starter that can have an 0-for game across the board lmao

Good win. Just worried McHale is going to give Smith the green light on threes now.

Keep in mind 3 of his makes behind the line were from the corner. I think McHale has probably said that as long as he isn't jacking up 3-balls near the top of the arc then he's fine. I'm sure his 3-PT% is between 33-35% from the corners which isn't great, but at least respectable.

Our front court depth is really solid now, but our back court depth is brutal. Any chance we occasionally run a big lineup with Harden at point guard and Ariza/Brewer at SG? I don't see the value that Terry brings, cause he isn't really a PG at all just a 6'2'' set shooter. His defense is pretty bad too. Either that or actually let Canaan play, but I doubt that happens either. We'll probably have to watch the logjam at 4/5 spots and sub-standard guards getting way more minutes than they should because there's no one else.

Haha. I had to look it up and Smith is actually on fire from the corners this season 7 of 12 from the right corner and 4 for 9 from the left corner for a combined 52%! But he's 0 for 17 on top of the key three pointers this season. . Last season he was only 24% combined from both corners so kudos to him for his 100+% improvement.

Still, I think everyone watching holds their breath every time he shoots a three.

Dwight is still a .582 TS% this season and shooting .711 FG% for 0-3 FT distance. The deviation is outside 3 FT, which is at career lows.

That said, I'd rather have Dwight working in the paint than Smith shooting long 2s.
