Scott brooks hot seat watch
This is a low point for this team, this season, this franchise and this coach. I just don't see how he survives the season.

No excuses for tonight, but Brooks still has the injury bug to blame for the season. Not too mention the glaring fact that Durant and Westbrook like him...a big reason why perk has stuck around.

What's the record with KD and Russ in the lineup?
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

90% of the Knicks team belongs in the D-league...no reason to lose that game even without Durant.

Brooks is working with the roster provided to him by Presti, under Presti's plan of " sustainability " .
I blame little of this on Brooks.

Re: Scott brooks hot seat watch
What does firing Scott Brooks accomplish this season? Next season?
Who do you go after as a new head coach? (If you've paid any attention to the Thunder way in the past you know Rex Kalamian is the interim)
Does a new coach fix this roster? Does he help the chance of KD and RW staying in the longterm?
Thinking shortterm is an easy thing to do and I'm not saying firing Scott Brooks would be wrong (although I do think it would be a bad thing and is very unlikely) but there is a series of dominoes that have to fall after Scott...it's the middle of the season for NBA and NCAA so what coaches are really available?

While OKC's roster definitely isn't the greatest, it's like an all-star team compared to the Knicks.

George Karl is available.
George Karl is a fun name, like his story, don't want him with the Thunder. Respect the tar outta the guy.
Of the 22 years in the postsesason 14 of em ended in the first round (2/3rds) 4 ended in the 2nd round, 3 in the Conf Finals, and 1 ended loosing in the Finals...
Of the 5 years in the postseason, Brooks has 1 first round loss, 1 2nd rnd loss, 2 Conf Finals and 1 Finals loss.
Though Brooks is not a 1/4 into the coaching career of Karl, he has essentially accomplished the highest accomplishment Karl has been with a team.
If there is gonna be change let's aim for an improvement, not a step in the same direction.

From DailyThunder
"I said Scott Brooks is a good coach. But you may have also noticed that I still wondered if he’s the right coach for the Thunder. That question might be more up in the air than ever."
Who is the right coach...is the question. Haven't seen a reasonable answer...

What have you seen , that makes you think this roster beyond KD, Russ, Serge, and on some night's Morrow ( though there's reasons he's been on 7 teams in 8 years , or whatever number ) ........... is good ?
Way over rated.

You do realize, that over the last two games vrs the bottom of the NBA standings, the Thunder are a combined 187 to 187 .
Why do you think the Thunder roster is any better than the TWolves or the Knicks ?
Thunder have too many rookie contracts, too many young players who can not be depended upon for consistency.

Two games does not make a season (again I understand concern but people overreact like this team with the majority of the same players hasn't been one of the best over the last few years).
Why do I think... http://espn.go.com/nba/standings/_/group/1
Thunder def have too many rookie contracts of players that can't be consistent. I agree.

Get me Tom Thibodeau. Brooks needs to go...
Heard Bulls doesn't like TT coaching ways. I'd LOVE to have TT has a head coach for OKC...

I love his defense, but I would be concerned about him grinding this young team into mince meat.
He needs to coach a more veteran team.

TT is def less of a players coach then Brooks, but essentially Thibs is Brooks East or Brooks is Thibs West...
Both have been ridiculed for driving players into the ground, both have similar resumes, neither has gotten the Championship with an injury excuse.
Again...seems were moving sideways here...why not improve if we are gonna possibly be ticking off the former MVP in the process?
