PG - Thibs trying to cement the rumors

Post#1 » by mmmmmbeeer » Fri Jan 30, 2015 6:27 am

Embarrassing loss.

This loss is on Thibs. The rotations made no sense. Minutes made no sense. The motivation wasn't there. The gameplan wasn't there. This was basketball played in a park...aka, basketball without coaching.

Pretty trash performance. Deserved to lose.

Rebounding was a joke, defense was a joke till late 4th. I don't want to hear about the guards either, Jo getting embarrassed most of the game 1v1 vs Jordan Hill is just sad. Gasol was low energy till about OT. We had no interior help as Boozer just slipped inside over and over for a 8/14 game.

Butler was one of the few who showed up seemingly try to win it on his own, but predictably didn't have enough gas to do it all by himself.

Rose playing like old man Kobe out there, he can't be the MVP anymore. It's very sad watching Rose try to be the player he used to be and failing. We aren't going to win with this setup needing him to be. Might want to find some more volume scoring.

Tony Snell is a terrible basketball player. Can we please get another competant wing in here!?!

The worst thing about Snell is he does just that tiny bit enough not to be a D-leaguer, so that Thibs keeps giving him chances, yet it always ends up the same result, that he should be an 11th or 12th man type, never put in any serious game.

Hinrich is afraid to shoot, making him worse than usual on offense.

Bigger picture, I really worry that this team doesn't have enough shooting. We have no easy choice to play with the main unit and provide a volume threat. Yeah Dunleavy will come back and help space the floor, but his low volume is dubious to be enough, and we rarely put him out there at crunch time anyway.

But yeah, let's keep running Brooks and his terrible D out thinking he is our 5th championship starter.

Rose and Butler don't have enough room inside to play their games, they are constantly driving into 3 and 4 people. Butler is strong enough to sometimes get it done, but most nights, its going to be tough. The books is out on us. Pack the paint, dare us to shoot.

At least in the playoffs there are no teams we will play down to.

I really really really question whether Derrick watches film on the games he plays. He doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes, see how he can correct them, and play better the next day. It just seems like he sets his mind on doing one thing and if his 3 is hitting, it's gonna be an OK night, but if not, then he doesn't know how to impact the game in other ways to help us win.

We just lost to a Laker team that had lost nine in a row and is clearly in tank mode. And we're supposed to be title contenders? Hilarious.

Another embarrassingly bad performance from Rose, who is not even a top 15 PG right now. Noah was abused by a dude who would be a decent 3rd big on a playoff team. I'd go on about the rest but why bother?

Butler was the only player to show up tonight. Good for him. I'm sure he'll follow it up with a dud, because nobody on this team possesses anything that resembles consistency.

What a fun team. I'm having a blast.

Niko was abysmal in the 1st half which is probably why he didn't get more minutes

Once again the Bulls showing all the signs of an early exit playoff team. This losing to terrible teams has become a trend. Championship teams don't allow that to happen. You have your bad games, but not like this. Not this often.

Derrick is a role player masquerading as a star. His role is to score, and he isn't very good at it.

The team has no shooting.

But hey, TTTHHHHIIIIIIBBBBBBBSSSSSS!
