Re: Official Trade Thread: The Block Is Hot!!
And the guy from Philly is not a thug, he is a coward, if you say something you should stand behind it. Dont blame alcohol, dont blame bad mood... You are who you portray, dont drop the N word for no reason and then try to apologize for it and say you have no racist bones in your body. Alcohol is more of a truth agent, just because you said it when you were drunk does not mean you didnt think it... it means the alcohol took your normal inhibitions away and you actually spoke your mind instead of hideing it like normal. But he didnt touch anyone or fight THAT NIGHT!! and then backtracked and tried to show us all of his black friends (associates... not true friends).. So Coward not Thug, there was a diffrence.

I still can't see us trading just one of the twins. Now that they are together, I think it would create a negative atmosphere to trade one. Tastic, I like many of the ideas; however, the Mook Green for Anderson would be impossible salary wise. We don't have enough cap room to complete it.

"When and how to use them, however, is not something that is finitely and foolishly planned before other resolutions take place. On Arizona Sports 98.7 FM, Suns General Manager Ryan McDonough explained some of the more immediate concerns before those long-term tools come into play. "It's not something we predetermine," McDonough said. "We have it set up now where we have a decent amount in the summer of 2015. We have some key free agents this summer in Goran Dragic and Gerald Green that we'd like to re-sign. We'll see how it goes." NBA.com -
Hmmmmm. Ryan wants to resign green. That's interesting. Goran is no surprise but green is. Very very interesting.

I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

Re: Official Trade Thread: The Block Is Hot!!
How about Mook and possibly IT for McBob and Chalmers? We don't need Chalmers but they would want to unload one of their guards and that makes the salaries match, and he only has one year left. It gives us a good backup to Kieff that can stretch the floor. Perhaps we could deal Chalmers either later or in the summer to open up room for Ennis, or if Dragic leaves, perhaps keep him. Or add a third team like Detroit or Charlotte who might want Chalmers and get an expiring from one of them?
It may not sound that great, but I try to only post realistic trades. Perhaps we could pry a pick from them too.

I actually like IT on this team :/. Not saying he's untouchable or anything, but he's won some games for us.

If the Hornets really wanted to get rid of Big Al, would they throw in Zeller as well? Thomas and the Twins for Big As and Zeller. Al gives us a true post presence when we need it, and Cody can do anything Kief can do, if not now then soon he will be atleast as good, and maybe better, love me some Cody. More playing time at Pg for both Goran and Bled with Goodwin or Ennis getting time if needed and Marcus just wont be missed. Kemba is out, so they need a pg right? Al played for Jeff in Utah when he was an assistant, if he opts out then we get that money, if he stays then we have a great post game mentor for Len, and someone who is unstopable in the post for the playoffs. Would even throw in Plum so they get a C back.

agreed. he's the best shooter on the team (over 50% from three since having fluid drained from his hand), probably the best 6th man in the league. he takes a couple shots a game that make you cringe, but overall i think he's a positive.

If IT was willing to pass the ball at the end of QTRs to others instead of him taking a horrific shot, I'd like him a lot more.
But yea he hasn't played bad since the hand fluid thing.

Thomas has also repeatidly said he wants to be a starter in this league, so we would be doing him a favor by tradeing him, unless we plan on letting Goran walk and starting him and Bled next year.

Could just be "GM PR talk".

Green should expect less money than Tucker got, so he shouldnt be a huge problem.

I am not sure how other Suns fans feel about this idea but as a Hornets fan I like it. We do not have the shooting to support Al properly and would benefit by moving on to more youth and speed.

I don't mind him much if everyone buys in, and sometimes it seems like they do. If it costs us Dragic it's not worth it, but if not, no big deal and he'd be easier to deal later. But I do like pass first pgs better so long term I probably prefer Ennis if he is solid.

To the people who call Al a ball stopper, what do you think Kief is when he goes iso ball from out on the floor, this way it is iso and lay up instead of iso and jump shot. And for those who thought Len and Lopez could play together, why not Al and Len... Len is young enough and fast enough while being able to stick midrange also. Zeller and Wright off the bench.
