GT - Bulls (30-18) at Suns (27-20) - 9:30 PM CT (ESPN, CSN)

Post#1 » by unknownnewbie » Fri Jan 30, 2015 10:06 pm

According to reports, the Bulls got to their hotel at 3:30 a.m. But hey, rest is overrated

Jimmy Butler is probable with a knee contusion
Taj Gibson is probable with right patella tendinitis
Mike Dunleavy Jr is questionable with his mystery ankle injury

Probable Starting Lineups:

BULLS

PG - Derrick Rose
SG - Jimmy Butler
SF - ??? (I'll guess it will be Tony Snell)
PF - Pau Gasol
C - Joakim Noah

SUNS:

PG - Goran Dragic
SG - Eric Bledsoe
SF - P.J. Tucker
PF - Markieff Morris
C - Alex Len

NOTES: The Bulls have won 5 straight road games against the Suns

Phoenix is 2nd in the NBA in scoring offense but 3rd from last in scoring defense

The Suns lead the NBA in bench PPG

Thanks for making the game thread. I used to go on this forum to check who the Bulls are playing next. It's always good to look ahead to the next game. So again, Thank you.

I really, really don't want to see Mirotic start at SF tonight. Hornacek is going to that 3 guard line up as soon as he sees it.

We'll find out in the first few minutes if we're gonna compete tonight or not.

If not, an easy loss.

Instead of playing Niko at SF, maybe the Bulls front office should think about acquiring one? Another one.

After getting embarrassed again late night maybe the Bulls will actually show up in the first quarter?

I wouldn't bet either way on this team. They should look to get Butler established early.

Chances of a win are not great factoring in everything. That said, the Bulls win these types of games.

I am looking forward to the battle of the big guys i.e. Aaron Brooks Vs Isiah Thomas.

Good thing about this game is that I have no expectations and will most likely fall asleep before the Bulls get too far behind. 'Course if by some freak of nature, McDermott gets early playing time at least there'll be that.

Hopefully Rose doesn't have another atrocious game.

If Rose's first shot attempt is a 3, expect a long night.

With his 3s constantly being flat and hitting front iron, more like to be short night.

Get it?

Yeah, it sucked.

Start the third string.

Seriously, Noah and Gasol should sit this one out.

Time to give Doug a start.

Relax and enjoy a seat on the bench, Rose. Somebody else deserves a chance to dribble high and chuck.

Hard to predict this one.

Suns aren't a great team like GS.
Suns aren't a terrible team like LAL.

So I guess we'll play mediocre?

Does Pheonix have a young, talented athletic big? If so this a loss.
