Perfect play call from Williams there.

Pick and roll with Asik. Anderson comes up off a Cunningham screen, who slips it and rolls to the rim for an easy dunk. Perfect play, perfect time to call it.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

chickensh*t blake just tried really hard to throw the ball and the game away.

don't worry, you don't have to. doc and jamal already did that for you.

Bad shot by Crawford. It's okay to take a near half court shot when your up big, but not when you're down...

oh well. what can you do?

doc's obsession with jamal hurt us here. i'm not mad that we lost, but i'm getting pretty fed up with the idea that he's so blind he'll never see it's a problem.

i guess San Antonio coming up tomorrow and AD being out can bring the **** performance out of any team.

No one here should be surprised, we could have easily lost the two games before this one. This being a trap game had nothing to do with it. Our D is poor and we live and die by the 3 point shot which can be a scary combination to have. If JJ and JC shot their average then this would go down as another ugly W.

disappointing just about sums it up. as I have said a few times before doc has to do a better job late in games. jamal got beat on a couple of plays that really hurt. even though jj was not shooting well he should have been in there sooner than the last 4 minutes. blake spent to much time shooting jump shots and no defense. if they play tonight like that, they will get killed.

I hate to use this as an excuse. but the refs missed three big calls on jj. the big one was when Gordon flat out run over him for a charge and he ends up with 3 points. hard to win like that.

I saw that we lost last night and I saw it coming based on the 3rd quarter. I know that we got it close in the 4th but we came up short. That's the end of our winning streak and time to try to win tonight.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Refs missed calls all night. The whistle was very generous in favor of the Pelicans.

The refs weren't great but no way is that the reason why we lost. We didn't start playing until the 4th. This is a classic game of effort beats talent.

sad to say but you are right. I hope this team can get consistent soon. frustration is beginning to set in. sometimes it makes me think why did I pay for the league pass. I suppose I will get over it.
