Not sure where the defender came in... have never seen this... on the contrary.
He can't shoot... good plan for our bigs that are packed in the paint.

Per Mlive the proposed deal from Miami was Cole & Granger's contract for J.J.

I figured JJ would be involved. The problem other than he sucks is Hes on the books for like 2.5 mil next season as well. Stan seems to not want to dip into any unnecessary capspace and for good reason next season. But we do have one worthless body who will opt in at close to the same price on our own roster as well and that's Martin.

So I'm sure Stan's counter offer right now is Cole+Granger for Jerebko+Martin.

I'd do that deal, even with Granger on the books for next season at $2.5 mil

We're gonna have enough space to sign some significant pieces even with Granger on the books. His presence would likely replace Butler anyway...

BJ (assuming speedy return)
KCP
Free Agent
Monroe
Drummond

DJ
Meeks
Granger
Tolliver
Vet (Anthony?)

Dinwiddie, our 2015 pick, Martin, our 2nd rounder and potentially another free agent

I'd be happy with Granger too. He'd bring some more experience. Plus he can score when healthy and that contract isn't too bad.

Cole shot 1-10, Granger 0-6 yesterday. Cole can't run an offense, can't create for others or himself, he is shooting the ball terribly this season 37% FG, 24% 3pt, he is just a decent defender and Granger is done. No thanks.

I'd rather trade for Calderon again than add Norris. I think that idea sums it up.

Like I said earlier in the thread if he is a good defender and get him for nothing I'm ok with it. Yall see we have no defense at the PG position would prefer him over lucus

Thank god we didn't do that trade. Cole is terrible and I didn't even realize how bad until I started paying attention after hearing this rumor.
