Give up a 2015 first just to make the playoffs? Hell no.

No not Rubio dummies. Mo Williams.

I'd trade the picks for ty lawson and wilson chandler in heart beat
2 first round picks for ty rite now, i'd do it. a package of getting ty and chandler id do it. id offer 2-1st round picks, 2-2nd round picks, and keep jerebko and singler for the bench brigade.
denvers rebuilding. makes no sense to keep players entering their prime.

K, you would do it. Theres no way in hell I would. Thats the type of short-sighted thinking that got Joe D in trouble.

I disagree bc, wilson chandler and ty lawson are better than anyone in the 10-15 range. and we are not getting jimmy butler or kawhi leonard.
there isnt one player in the 10-15 range that would start over jennings, kcp, moose, or drummond. Only sf is replaceable. Not improving the roster comes at the cost of missing the playoffs and losing moose. How redundant is that. Just bc you wanted to keep the picks. What happens if we do nothing and miss playoffs and loose moose bc he is unhappy? In that case, we would have to offer max, and thats if he wants to come back.

It would be hard to give away two 1st rounders but I do see your point. The odds of any player we draft at around 15 being anywhere near Lawson caliber is not good. Hell you're almost lucky to even get a starter half the time. Lawson would be right up there with Wall, Lowry and Irving for best PG in the East. I would definitely trade our pick for him, I just don't know about two draft picks. Maybe something like 2015 1st and Dinwiddie for Lawson. Doubt that could get it done but Dinwiddie was big for them in Colorado so maybe they value him a bit.
