Come on Pistons!
Personally, I don't like Harden or his game, reminds me of a better Prime time Gilbert Arenas, agent 0. Didn't like him either. Not a fan of the flop and flail routine to get to the FT Line. Guys that run over people then flail to get FTa's and the NBA has refs that buy into it and reward said players instead of issuing Techs for "flopping". That style disgusts me but I'm probably in the minority so I can't see it changing any time soon. Everyone (casual fans) wants to see guys going off for 50 pts and huge numbers so lets fore go defensive play and give offensive players every call. Basketball is supposed to be an offensive AND defensive game.
Fair post. I agree. His playing for the foul is too repetitive and cheap, but watching Harden's offensive game is fun, His ability to hit clutch shots and shoot the three is what impresses me. Of course, I also understand that the stats he puts up are because he plays a large quantity of minutes.
And at the end of the day, the game is indeed about offense and defense- we all know what Harden is like on the latter
