I like Mo. He is an underrated defender. He can hold his own.

I like Mo. He is also a hard-nosed player. He won't back down from anyone.

Considering their Ages, the defensive end and their hunger levels, It's a smart bet.

Plus TJ could be had for cheap, long term, he's already here. You'll need to give up something for Mo.

I'm willing to bet TJ will have a higher PER then Mo before next season ends.

It's not a smart bet at all.

How many undrafted basketball players in the history of the NBA have played better than Mo Williams.

I hope you're right and I like your optimism but that's a long bet with any bookmaker.

It's a smart bet because unlike you I've actually seen both play. We're not talking prime Mo here, He'll be 33 YO and has been declining for a while now. Considering our needs, Mo jacking up shots will be less helpful that TJ playing his ass off could bring next year.

Sometimes you make good posts and sometimes you speak out of your ass.

I'm pretty sure that I've seen Mo Williams play more than you. Maybe you've seen more of TJ though I've watched all his NBA minutes and seen his summer league games (at least all those available online during the tournament).

Your problem is that you see some young player and suddenly you believe he's a world beater. There are hundreds (thousands) of players like TJ, Birch, Ennis (and even Shabazz) and most of them don't even get into the NBA let alone stay in it productively for 5 years or more.

Beasley has far more quality than any of them could hope to have and where's he? Dorrel Wright was a phenom and even though he's still in the league he's just a bit part player. Rio had a better college pedigree than all 3 and you're hating having him. Cole was seen as good enough to be drafted unlike TJ and Birch and you wish he was dead.

Finding an undrafted star is rare - we've done well with UD, do you know how many second rounders even play 3 years in the NBA?

As I said I've enjoyed the glimpses of TJ on the court but the liklihood that he ever becomes anything is small and the chances for Birch are far far less.

Not a fan of Mo but i will take him over all we got in our PG & SG rotation except Wade of course !
The guy can shoot and pass the ball. I dont like when a player is not a good defender but we need some offense and we got whiteside now !
About being a chocker in playoffs, we are not asking him to be the 1st nor the 2nd option in offense

Taking Mo, it's not against TJ, i will take both, trade both Napier (First) then Cole. TJ could benefit a lot from Mo's experience

 sometimes it seems that way but at least neither one of us thinks the other isn't a Heat fan. We just happen to be Heat fans with different views on the team we love.

It's so much better than the last few years where most people on here weren't Heat fans. Now I only get annoyed with Heat fans and afterwards I get over it because I know that's what they are.

The Heat have looked into adding Mo Williams and Arron Afflallo, but have failed considerably. Looks likely we are going through the season with what we have, outside picking up a free agent. Still something can come up at the last minute (which what Riley said in his interview), but as of right now things look bleak. So all the Summer and D-Leaguer fans and Youthers, you may likely get your wish and see plenty of TJ, Ennis, Whiteside, Shabazz the second half of the season.
