Aaron Rodgers wins 2nd MVP.

Post#1 » by humanrefutation » Sun Feb 1, 2015 3:18 am

Great news for a player who had a memorably great season, despite the startlingly disappointing finish. It is too bad it ended the way it did, because he was turning in a legendary performance. That doesn't take away from the accomplishment, though, so congratulations to him.

On a related note, JJ Watt was unanimously voted NFL Defensive Player of the Year. It was the first time in the history of this award that the voting was unanimous.

It's kind of awesome that the two best players in the league have significant Wisconsin ties.

For someone who keeps his private life pretty down low, was surprised when he was so mushy in public with Olivia.

Congrats A Rod

Yeah that was my biggest takeaway from his speech as well, he is normally so private and he very publicly declared his love there, she even looked a little shocked when they panned to her.

It wasn't surprising to me, because they've both been pretty public about their relationship. It did make me wonder if they were going to tie the knot, though. They seem invested in one another.

She did have a deer in the headlights look there, like that was the first time he ever used the L-word with her. But I'd be more worried about it if she wasn't pressed up on him and glowingly staring at him all night.

It was also pretty funny when she mirrored his frown and head shake when Seth Meyers made an NFC Title game joke at his expense. I LOL'ed.

Agreed with both points.

Wish it was Super Bowl MVP. Sigh.

Weird that I had no reaction to this. I despise football and what it does to me at the moment.

Someone needs to inform the NFL that Rodgers was disqualified from winning this award due to his Week 15 performance. ;)
