Exactly. This is what we should expect for a team in our position that lost their starting PG. Don't mortgage the future, sign a serviceable player and keep fighting. SVG is being smart and patient. Exactly the opposite of what Dumars would've done. It's not flashy but I accept it.

Lucas fits the profile of the type of player I wanted to see us get on a 10-day contract. A veteran who knows what he’s doing, not a developmental player with upside. We already have one of the latter. Hopefully Lucas is good for us, if not, then we try the next guy.

Didnt he play for chi and do a good job when rose went down the 1st time,then slid over to the wizards and did a decent job there.Hes only a backup and will probably get the job done and its only 10 days.I get the feeling stan isnt going to bring in that number 2-3 option that you all want,next season is where I see him making his move.

Anyway, not much of a signing. He's a hard working vet who can hit a 3. The only real positive is that he's one of those guys who should help continue building the culture here.

everything points towards JL3 being a terrible offensive player, although SVG's offense is PG-friendly as long as they can run the PnR and hit the 3. lucas is ok at shooting, but does anyone know if he run the pick and roll?

February 10th is the deadline usually. Correct me if I'm wrong.
