Seahawks Didn't Want Lynch To Diss Media If He Scored ?

My theory is the Seahawks didn't want Lynch to score the winning touchdown and be the hero of the Superbowl and chance him dissing the media by not speaking, would've been a very bad look so they decided to go with the pass and have Russell Wilson be the hero because he would be gracious and talk. That's my take, on phone so can't post too many more thoughts but I have a strong belief that's why the play was a pass.

I would hope winning a super bowl > Lynch not speaking to the media (which isn't uncommon at all)

It's doubtful that this was an issue that went through the minds of the coaches when the NFL championship is on the line.

this is dumb. they would much rather win the title, make him unavailable and pay his fine. super bowl win >>>> even a million dollar fine
