I say no only on the basis of his character issues, knowing how picky the FO is.

I honestly think people take his mental flaws and let it influence their opinion of him as a basketball player though, he is absolutely NBA calibre. Does he have wasted potential? Sure, but that doesn't mean he's still not a good basketball player right now.

In his last season in Miami, he played very much as a role player, and he was exceptional. Through 55 games he shot 50% and 39% from 3, and managed to be scoring at a 19 points/per 36 rate despite the lowest FGA of his career. His defence is sub-par so that needs to be taken in to account, but on-court, I think he's a massive upgrade over what we have. Not an ideal fit but a still a very good one.

I think it's wasted breath because we all know it's not a GarPax, nor a Thibs move, and with things fragile as they are at the moment, throwing Beas into the mix may not be the smartest option, but I would still support the move if it were to hypothetically happen.

Honestly, I'm surprised Miami didn't keep him around. I thought playing on a contender, being disciplined and held accountable, and thrown back under the mentorship of Wade did great things for him.

Not to add.

No, he's not an option (in case the OP was serious).

Miami couldn't wait to launch him.

Thankfully, as you said, the Bulls avoid knuckleheads who suck.

He's by no means a savior, but he'd probably outplay Snell, Hinrich, and Moore by a decent margin. Not to mention, Beasley will be on a good value contact.

The Bulls can't continue to be blinded by perfect scenarios, and then play the who knew card when players perform well elsewhere.

We can't continue to be blinded by being wrong about players.

The idea of what Beasley could have been is cool, what he is in reality is ...not good.

No cards needed to be playing.

Yep Bulls are smart. Of course every other organization passed as well.

Agreed, this has nothing to do with our FO..he's simply not wanted.

For everyone saying he does not play defense, he would fit right with this team, bc no one on our roster is currently playing in defense as well. If we are going to go bucket for bucket with other teams than I would rather have someone on the roster that can actually put the ball in the goal. It is time for change, this would be a no lose situation from a non-guaranteed contract.

He is very talented but his defense just sucks so he wont have the favor of coach Thib

Hey if anyone can turn a poor defender into at least an adequate help / system defender, it's Thibs. I wouldn't mind him on the team actually; I just wish he was a bit better from deep.
