I don't know about Montana (never seen him play or know much about him) but there shouldn't be a doubt that he's better than Manning.

Brady isn't even better than Rodgers. Rodgers has a stronger arm, better mobility, and is better at avoiding Turnovers.

Brady ripped LOB apart, very impressive but i'm still kind of iffy about giving him the GOAT title but I can't blame anyone for saying he is the GOAT. Statistics are def on Brady's side

Tom Brady fans will talk about Jerry Rice, but ignore the rest of Montana's supporting cast or simply ignore the fact that he had 2 rings before Jerry Rice came in.

Idk, the greatest wide receiver of all time seems like a pretty big deal when talking about supporting cast.

Yeah and Joe Montana's playoff reputation was never legendary until he played with Rice. Before that, he was a very average playoff QB that was part of a great team that won 2 SBs...kind of like Tom Brady.

I've always been on the Manning side of this argument, but I've flip flopped. It's gotta be Brady. He has the titles. He has the stats. He's got it all. He is the GOAT.

Other than supporting cast, what argument can anyone make? The first thought regarding Belichick is about his failures in Cleveland. I'd argue he's overrated.

You can't blame Brady for the two super bowl loses. He played good in those games and it was really the Pats' defense that lost those games. Unlike Manning or Elway, who are directly blamed for their super bowl loses.

Their was a point where Jordan was below Bird and Magic, but when they went away, Jordan proved himself and got six rings.

Brady hasn't blown past Montana, but this win (and his stats the last few years) has put him on the same level as Montana to a point where nobody is offended about the Montana and Brady debat.

Montana out performed Elway, Marino, and Aikman.

The good thing is that Brady is play in an era of great quarterbacks, like Manning, Rodgers, Brees, Wilson and also out performing them. So Manning, Rodgers, and Brees' stats are helping lift up Brady in this debat.

If their was an all time draft and i had the #1 pick, i would take Brady over Montana, but i wouldn't be offended if somebody else would take Montana over Brady. I'm okay as long as the first two picks are Brady and Montana, I would get offended if somebody tries to put Elway or Farve, or Manning, or Rodgers, or Marino in the top two, because they are not on the same level as Brady and Montana

I think in terms of talent and skill...Rodgers actually has a fantastic argument for being the GOAT. He's as good of a passer (maybe even better) as anyone to ever play, including Brady and Manning, but he's also got the added benefit of being a great runner who can escape sticky situations, extend plays, and even scramble for first downs.

However, he needs to add some longevity to his career before he can be put on Brady's or Montana's or Manning's level in an all-time sense.

Important to note that all of Brady's big passes and TDs went against Simon, who replaced Jeremy Lane (who suffered a broken arm on the first INT). Brady didn't beat Seattle's D at its best.

He made plays against him, but not all his big plays came against him.

Let's not pretend Lane, who is good, is the heart of Seattle's defense. They have the ultimate "next man up" mentality. If anyone really thinks that because of Jeremy Lane getting injured, was why Brady played so well, then they don't know what they're talking about.

He was moving the ball just find against Seattle with Lane in the game. The Lane pick wasn't a great play by him, Brady threw it right to him, under pressure.

The real strength of the Seattle's defense is their pass rush anyways. They got a good secondary, but their pass rush is what makes them so tough, when complementing a good secondary.

Lane's injury had a very little factor at all. Ridiculous if anyone really thinks that.

If you wanna go wins. 4-0 is the best winning percentage. But its not about that. Brady and montana has had stability of organization and coaching. Which is why elway is #1. Strongest arm. Great accuracy. Leader. Excellent runner before injury. Highest grade ever given by mel kiper comin out of college. And did it all by himself. Lousy coaching. Terrible supporting cast. All totally dependent upon his gun and his leadership. Thee greatest comeback artist in history. Dude brought his teams back from seeming losses all on his own. Hands down. John elway. GOAT!
