Why Green?
Because I still have faith this absolute garbage version of Rose can turn it around.

I don't. I wish there was some way to get rid of him.

No one for now. Thibs and the front office have a strong track record of success. They're not irreplaceable, but if you were to get rid of them, there would be a considerable risk that their replacements would be worse.
That said, for the first time I'm having doubts about whether Thibs should be the coach for the next decade. This season, the rotations have been bizarre and have cost us wins. Thibs' substitutions have been fickle, have shown little regard for spacing, and have featured a lot of doubling down on the starters/veterans by playing them huge minutes after they've dug a big hole. One reason I've been such a huge backer of Thibs over the year is that it seemed guaranteed that his teams would play elite defense. That's not happening this year and it's ruining up a season where many thought we would compete for a championship. No doubt, some or most of that is the players' fault. But if Thibs can't somehow shore up the defense this season or next, his value is not nearly as high as I thought and it could be worth replacing him with a less conservative coach who will place more trust in young and offensive-minded players and implement a more innovative offense.

Between losing Rose, having a revolving door on the bench, and filling all the other holes with past-their-prime vets and rookies, he has no doubt overachieved every year. So yeah, if anyone has to go, it should be the guy who chokes out coaches and the guy who pulls power trips on coaches and players.
There was no reason for losing to teams like The Sixers in the playoffs . Even without Rose . And Randy Whitman totally outcoached him the playoffs last year . I will say it again . Thibs is just a better version of Scott Skiles . Thibs and Skiles main things were about Defense rebounding and effort . And he never gave a damn about Offense until this year

Why do people always forget that the Bulls also lost Noah on a badly sprained ankle in that series too? That's the whole reason it was Asik out there instead of Noah to close game 6. Once you take those two players off that team, it wasn't particularly talented.
The one series I'll give Thibs grief for was Washington. Boozer was getting Chicago killed every game and Thibs refused to change things up.

Reinsdorf should be a choice. That's mine.
Who knows how many trades to improve the team have been passed up due to Bulls, Inc.

Reinsdorf & Co. - sell the team!!

Reinsdorf is not an option, b/c you can't fire the owner.

Holy ****, are you serious? I'm too lazy to go back and find Bulls records with any number of their starters injured, but there's no way you paid attention that closely if you think that. They've been far more impressive than other teams during the same time period, controlling for injuries. Thibs might be the very BEST at getting the most out of his roster, especially when taking into account injury. It's just this year that they're playing below expectations.
GarPax do find some nice players in the draft, don't get me wrong. I don't think anyone should go right now. I just want to know who is mostly responsible for scouting out trades because the Bulls missed some obvious ones -- Korver (or his TPE), Asik, and then there's some where they clearly didn't do their due diligence; otherwise, I can't imagine they wouldn't have pulled the trigger on some of those.

We are well set up for the future in my opinion, with Jimmy playing at an all-star level and Niko looking promising in the long term. Give this roster a couple of years and if they don't end up contending, we should be able to hit the reset button and build around Jimmy and Niko while remaining competitive in the East. Not really looking forward too seeing Thibs or GarPax go.
I find it hard to put our future in the Jimmy basket- as far as I've seen he hasn't proven to be an all-star even close to one full season, let a lone consistently from season to season. He has a lot to prove- come June he could be lucky the All-Star game is in the middle of the season and not at the end. Who knows. But that makes me hesitant to say we can build on him in the future.
Okay Brand, Michael Jackson didn't come over to my house to use the bathroom. But his sister did.

I agree that he hasn't proven some sort of superstar that you build the entire roster around. I mean "build around Jimmy and Niko" in the sense that those would be the guys from the current squad you take into the future in that situation. You fill in the rest of the roster around them and try to build a balanced team and well constructed roster to compete. Not build the entire roster around Jimmy as if he were Lebron.

Don't get rid of anyone. We have one of the best GM's and best coaches in the league. Who are you going to replace them with? The opportunity cost here for either position does not look that great.

+1 the Jimmy part.
I would like to add that since we traded for Niko's rights I have been as giddy as a 5 year old on christmas morning and what playing time he has been given this year has only solidified my love for him. I will be the first to say I want to build around him in the future. But that is a 3-5 years down the road.

Gar and Pax will be old and deaf, sending carrier pigeons to negotiate trades with other general managers, before they ever forced out by Jerry Billions.

Re: Who do you want to see go first?
Thibodeau is one of the last people I want to see go.
Gar would be option one, followed by Pax if necessary. Thibodeau has proven he can win, even with a depleted roster.
