From a Jazz perspective, I still think Milwaukee is the only potential trade destination for Kanter. I mentioned before the idea of Middleton and Ersan for Kanter. How about the idea of sending Kanter and Burke to the Bucks and then sending Knight to a 3rd team? It opens up a lot more trade possibilities. Who knows, maybe the Jazz might be the one's wanting Knight.

Mayo/Knight/Ersan are the guys I hope are moved. I'll be ecstatic with just one.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

What does the Jazz need? Can Hayward play the 2?

The priority would be to get a wing who compliments Hayward. Alec is a good player, but his skill set doesn't compliment Hayward's at this point in his career. Middleton would be perfect, but my judgement says that Milwaukee really wants to hold onto them (they should).

The most immediate need for the Jazz is a PG. Dante is the future but his timeline is different from Favors and Hayward. Ideally we could get a PG that could start for the next 1-2 seasons as Dante develops.

Wisky4life wrote:"Javale Mcgee and JJ Hickson or Affalo and Chandler or another mix" for Ersan, Job3 and OJ. I'd throw in a 2nd or 2. Those guys are near their prime, could be good for the future but are good right now. Denver is in sell mode and were willing to throw in the first 2 guys for B Lopez.

This team needs one trade before the deadline and I think Denver is a team that is willing to sell.

I was trying to think - who might be the next Whiteside, and McGee was the closest thing I could think of - even though he's 2 years older. He certainly has all the talent, and he's put up good numbers other than turnovers and fouls - but the stupid mistakes and bad rep (which he's earned) haunt him. If he could take this time out to focus on changing his attitude, he can be a stud. He's only got 1 more year on his contract - I'd be willing to take a chance on him.

I can get behind that for sure, would rather you guys keep Burke and Bucks get Collison however.

Not a fan of small PG, so that is just a bias on my part.

I'm on board, I think Kanter is a good return for Knight.

If you're not a fan of small pgs, why would you want Collison?

Not sure what the deal is with Alec Burks and whether that would make the Jazz resigning Knight a non-starter.

But if the contracts aren't such a concern I could see Utah being interested in pairing Knight with Exum.

Pretty sure the Kings, for as inept as they are, don't view Knight as an upgrade to Collison. They are open to trading Stauskas though

15 more days and finally the deadline passes. Some of these trade ideas are brilliant, others, not so much.

Seriously weird. Motiejunas is 5x the player, has improved on the court, is not that much older, and has another year on his rookie deal. Kanter is never going to catch him.

You guys are a joke.

Rightttttt, we're the joke. PPGz yall.

Yeah, typical ignore substance straight to ppgz comment 7 years strong baddy.

Honestly though, some of you piggy back wanna be's that only care about your face and perception on this board should look in the mirror and smack yourselves in the face real hard. Learn to be unique, be you, stop with the copy cat suck up demeanor as if you are devoid from any individuality at all, it gets sickening to a lot of important people around here.

FYI, the main reason BP stopped posting, just saying.....

That man gave you guys nothing but gold straight from the inside (really good guy mind you) and half of you talked smack all day every day about him suggesting he is a fraud and you know better. Ya'll just baffle me sometimes. If you guys treated him with any kind of dignity and respect, he would have continue to post here as a community member once he moved on from his position.

Annnd, my second.

When Mike Woodson facepalms you, you know you've done messed up.

Because he is 6'1" and he can play defense.

The term "small PG" means a PG who cannot cover any position on the court. We already suffered through that with Mo and Jennings the last decade. It simply does not condone winning basketball when you have someone on the floor who cannot cover a single opponent.
