This team needs to sign Nate Robinson. Imagine how nice that would be off da bench. We need someone with balls as hands said. Not a Nene dig.

Man, could you imagine how hilarious it would have been if Gortat got voted into the All-Star game?

The guy needs to see a sports therapist because his body language is even worse than his on-court play.

Also why the hell is Wall always taking the last shot? Our best ISO players are Pierce and Nene.
Can someone smarter than me (Nivek) tell me what Wall's FG% is on those end of quarter shots? He always does that crossover pull up and clanks it

this team really needs a scorer on the bench. We also need a lot more from the starting C/PF spot. One or both of these changes would result in a win. At this point I would be very open to trades.

Yep. Another reason Witt should be feeling the heat. Wasted possession after wasted possession.

This drives me CRAZY. I would love to know what the answer to this. My guess it's 20% or under. The team would be much better off running its normal O even if it means leaving time for another opponent's possession, but I'm sure the gestapo stat police will debunk me.

i had had two martinis at this point so i asked her if he every shouted DAGGER in the bedroom with her.

she looked at me kinda strangely and said she had no idea what DAGGER meant.

With 5 seconds or less left in a quarter Wall is shooting 21.6%.

Thanks. the link say 20.5% unless I'm reading it wrong, and I swear I didn't look it up previously. He's also taken the 4th most attempts, so we aren't talking about a small sample size. Last year he was at .294 on the 3rd most attempts. Me thinks it's time to try something new.

And it's not the percentage, per se, but the fact that it's not normal offense (which bingo, might explain the horrible percentages). it's dribble until the clock winds down and jack up a contested jumper. Not Wall's game.

Looks like they updated the info after i initially looked at it.

After years of this nonsense you would think Witt would get a clue and try running a play. SMH

Hell, I'd even take a Beal/Humphries pick and pop play. It's not all that high percentage of play, but it usually results in either Beal or Humphries getting a relatively open look at a long 2.

The problem isn't having the ball in Wall's hands. It's that he settles for jump shots. He should be either going all the way to the basket (and have a decent chance to get fouled - see Arenas, Gilbert) or driving and dishing to an open shooter. All it should take is a coach to tell him that. Maybe Pierce should be the default coach in those situations - since Randy doesn't seem to know any better.

Crawford's career percentage on shots in the last 5 seconds of a quarter: .296. His best year in those situations was 2013-14, when he shot .353. In his career with the Wizards, he shot .240 in the last 5 seconds of a quarter.

Jordan Crawford isn't even in the NBA - at 26 years old. That's how highly he's regarded by NBA teams. He's a Xinjiang Flying Tiger.

I'd take him over Miller and Temple if he adjusted his attitude and played team ball.

Crawford couldn't do that with us, Boston or GS. That is why he isn't in the NBA.

We're winning tonight. Enough is enough.

I'm calling my shot.

Damn I thought this was the thread, LOL.

I'm too lazy to do all the detailed shenanigans that the first post always requires.

But we're winning tonight.
