C'mon that's a pretty badass question to ask. I wish I could watch. Realistically, there is no way Borrego survives unless he brings us into the playoffs, right? We're a 0.3% chance to make it I think according to ESPN.

Finished watching the press conference. I think we'll know if we are getting a coach before or during all star break. If Borrego is still here expect him to finish out the season. My opinion.

There was only 1 thing we could have gained and we got it. Henny said coaching is going to be "day-by-day" which means we are actively looking for a new coach. Could be AS break, could be this summer, but the odds of JB making it are extremely thin.

you can't be serious, if we win a handful of games and our D improves then that should be good enough

Based on that presser: Martins was keen to move on Vaughn's firing more than Hennigan. Martins is more pissed than Henny at Vaughn's performance this year. James Borrego is auditioning for his next assistant coaching gig though I thought he spoke very well.

You're very much correct.

The "day to day" wording means that the timeframe starts immediately.

Borrego looked like he was attending a funeral. He knows what's going on. I certainly wish him the best. Seems like a genuine guy, but I have zero expectations for him.

I think Hennigan has done his job. He's brought in young talent that still has a ton of potential. JV just struggled to consistently put the pieces together. Henny's job should be secure right now.

If he had a serious chance they'd have said he was the interim coach till the end of the season. It's not that big of a commitment on their part and fairly normal in these types of situations.
