Rose 34/Brooks 14
Butler 36/Kirk 12
Dunleavy 30/Snell 12/Doug 6(he is our first round lottery pick, he should play at least a little)
Taj 32/Mirotic 8
Noah 30/Gasol 26
What would your rotation look like?

Rose
Jimmy
Snell
Pau
Joakim
bench
Brooks
Moore
McDermott
Mirotic
Taj
Those are the only 10 people that should ever see playing time. When Mike is back replace him with Snell and replace Moore with Snell on the bench.

Re: What would your rotation look like?
Rose 36, Brooks 8, Hinrich 4
Butler 28, Brooks 12, Hinrich 8
Dunleavy 30, Butler 10, Snell 8
Gasol 26, Gibson 14, Niko 8
Noah 34, Gibson 8, Gasol 6
That is my minutes breakdown with our current roster. If everybody is hypothetically healthy Noah and Taj would take away from Niko's minutes at the 4. Niko would more than likely play spot minutes at the 3 too.
I would really like to see a Rose/Brooks/Butler/Niko/Noah line up with Noah healthy of course. Noah could actually crash boards since he's not guarding 4's, Niko and Brooks can spread the floor, Rose can drive, and Jimmy Gets Buckets.
There are so many situational lineups especially playing against the East because we could get away with playing Niko and Taj at the same time... Against a decent front court like the Wizards then of course Niko should play less.

There's no reason why Gasol should be averaging 35+ MPG now, none.

To follow up on my post.
Look at the names on the list, and also look at the last time it's been done. Gasol is currently at 35.2, on pace to join this group:

For single seasons; played in the NBA/BAA; in the regular season; from 1954-55 (shot clock era) to 2014-15; from age 34 to 43; played C or C-F; requiring Minutes Per Game >= 35; sorted by ascending Season.

Re: What would your rotation look like?
Only read the first page so far and every single lineup is more logical than our current one.
Possible exception of Niko at SF but good way to find out if he can play there.
This also goes to show that trades are not required for a balanced rotation.

That's pure stupidity.
That does not best prepare him for the playoffs.

I had been waiting for the post that benches Rose in favor of Brooks. Please expand Dear Coldfish. Why would you go that way?
That's evaluating everyone as far as their performance to date and putting the best players so far in the best roles for them. Brooks has been better than Rose, so he gets the nod as starting PG. Rose gets put in a Ben Gordon type role where he comes in and he can just gun like he has been. If he is on, then Thibs can leave him in to finish the halves.
Gibson has been the best big this season so he gets the start and most minutes. Gasol gets reduced minutes at C and Noah is your energy guy off the bench. Butler plays the most overall. Hinrich gets his minutes cut to reserve PG duty next to Rose. Mirotic and McDermott have sucked, so they don't get to play.
I disagree on Niko yet would cheerfully take your rotation.

Re: What would your rotation look like?
If snell can maintain 80% of what hes been doing we could have a pretty solid rotation going forward
Regular season
Rose 30/Brooks 15/Hinrich 3
Butler 30/Snell 18
Dunleavy 28/Snell 7/Moore MCD and Niko 13
Pau 32/Taj 10/Niko 6
Noah 30/ Taj 18
Keeps everyone's minutes low and keeps them fresh for the playoffs (im sure butler will never go under 36mpg, but one can dream).
Playoffs
Rose 36/Brooks 12
Butler 36/Snell 12
Dunleavy 28/Snell 20
Pau 36/Taj 12
Noah 30/Taj 18
Cuts it down to the typical 8 man rotation thibs likes to use. Give hinrich and niko spot minutes.
