I think something based around Reggie Jackson, Perk, Ish for Lin, Davis, and Wes would make sense. It'd be an all in move by the thunder.

Doesnt make sense to me. Perk & Lin are both expiring contracts and make around the same money, so they in effect cancel each other out. Wes shouldnt be in there as Nick Young (and a 1st) was the one mentioned, so the trade would essentially be Jackson/Ish/1st for Young/Davis. You also have to add in that Davis just talked about how he plans on opting out of his contract for next season, so he can sign a new long term deal.....with the Lakers! So that makes the deal look even worse. Jackson alone holds much much more value league wide than Young/Davis.

Why does Harris' stats go up every time he gets mentioned? First he was 17/8 guy, but when you look on basketball reference, he is 17/6.5, which makes him only 2/0.6 better per game than MkMo, and Harris isn't a PF. He also has more usage on his team than MkMo.

Next same source, he isn't 6'9" he is 6'8", which would be a taller sf than we have, but again, only a 0.6 increase in rebounding, and much more usage than Tucker, but not a better or more versatile defender. He is also listed at 225.

I don't mind trading for him,but I wouldn't give up too much, and it would be at the sf spot, which would mean that we have way too many sfs. If we could trade the Mo bros for a solid PF, then maybe a Harris move would make sense, but I'd rather move other guys for an elite PF, and move the Mos to the bench, to dominate, like last year.

Both Yahoo & ESPN has him at 6'9, 235lbs.

As for 17/8, you are correct, he hasnt averaged 8 rebounds for 2 years now. That was his 1st season with the Magic when he was getting 36 minutes a night.

And that was for only part of a season, never averaged that for a full season. I'll check his draft height to see what it is. I don't know why BR would list him an inch smaller, though.

So did he grow? 6"7.6" with shoes at draft combine. I'm mean, it is possible to grow at his age, but did he? As for averaging 8.5 rebounds, that was for 27 games. I still don't think he is a PF. But definitely an improvement point wise from Tucker, but not defensively, and has much more usage. When you compare him to MkMo, there really isn't a significant difference to warrant the salary he will want.

How many of these games the Suns' are gonna give away? The last 8 games they should have been 7-1 or the least 6-2. Right now I would take back Frye and a broken Amare and Nash.

Why does he keep getting compared to Markieff? He would be our starting SF, not PF.

source indicated that the team has made no calls on moving Gibson, especially because of the health concerns with Joakim Noah. Chicago Sun-Times

Anyone interested in some past glory. Stoudemire could be available soon.

The Knicks have had internal discussions about a possible buyout but have yet to approach Stoudemire about it, sources told ESPN.com's Ian Begley earlier this week. ESPN.com -

Harris is 6'8 definitly, no way he is taller than that. But Markieff is listed 6'10 here, so you know what is happening.
Harris is an SF, and a good one, but he can play some PF too in smaller lineups. He is 22 years old, and improving every.year in the NBA. He is skilled and a hardworker, and good teammate by all sources, so his value around the league has to be high. If we can trade for him Now it would be a great idea in my opinion.

Btw: I was all for keeping dragic but I have now swayed to trading him now while he still can net us something.

Clearly dragic is not coming back.

If Dragic walks I'm open to offering Harris the max. He is 22 years old. If he played for a team that plays on national TV every week then he would be a household name by now.

The only way we can sign Harris long term is by trading for him before the deadline. He then becomes restricted and signs a max/near max offer from the Knicks and Suns match.

From what I've heard, he's attainable.

I would much rather have 22 year old Tobias Harris on a max contract than Goran Dragic who is pushing 30. Plus Harris is a SF which is exactly what we need.

I'm in this boat as well.

I went from being completeky confident that Goran stays to completely confident that no chance he stays in the matter of 5 months lol.

We **** it up by getting IT.

It didn't work, it caused too many variables to shift (Green's demise, Gogi's unhappiness + touches, Bledsoe's insecurity and attitude). Not saying he's not a valuable piece, clutch, and a talented offensive player, but it wrecked the magic potion of last year. Other things happened too, of course, the West getting stronger, Horny getting exposed a bit and no longer the surprise team of the year, Len still developing and losing Frye.....but as of now, we're at a crossroads.

I have no idea what happens next, what should happen next, and who to roll the dice on. The only pieces I'm stuck on right now are Bledsoe and Len.

Yeah, he's a SF... playing at 4 he would be like Kieff.

I think OKC needs to do something with their roster or else they lose KD next year. Lin isn't that much of a down grade from RJ. Davis is a much better backup big than Collison/Perkins. And I think putting Young on that roster is just asking for trouble, which is why I put Wes in their to be a solid bench player. I think even with the Davis commitment that LA would be open to moving him.

Harris per 36 was a 17/8 player as a 21 year old (if not younger).

He is getting better and could explode to become a nightly 21-22/8 player.
