I hope this is sarcastic.

I say we create a non-Hornets UConn alum thread, and keep all the talk about UConn folks that aren't actively involved in talks in there.

Jeremy Lamb is a polarizing figure on this board, so what better way to keep his name out of every topic thread than to give his namesake it's own thread to be discussed without going off-topic in other threads? I like the idea of this thread. Anyone that doesn't care for Lamb doesn't have to open the thread or even reply to it. It's rather simple. I know I personally ignore threads that I don't have interest in on this board

Just keep in mind that one of the people mad about this thread is probably Rick Bonnell on his realgm account. Don''t make yourself a suspect

I'm all aboard the Lamb-train or as I will now refer to it, the Sheep Jeep.

Seriously- an all-around talent with a smooth jumper that can probably be had for very little- I don't know what we're waiting on. I'm not advocating trading our 2015 1st for him or anything, and I certainly don't expect him to be our SG of the future, but you never know. It's the definition of a low-risk, medium-to-high-reward kind of move.

Good humor is watching Gary Neal attempt to play basketball. If trading for Lamb means we dont have to watch Neal and gives a young lottery pick a chance to shine under a real coaching system im all for it, and you should be too. But your a dukie so you naturally hate on all UCONN players including Walker.

You obviously don't know LP at all if you think he has college bias. He quite openly and successfully separates his love for college ball and his love for NBA ball.

Honestly, if the kid is this good, wouldn't anyone have traded for him?

Not even going to bother with this comment. Tired of repeating myself over and over.

You tell us. I think the hold up may be Presti asking for more than most teams are willing to offer for a guy that received constant DNPs. Since Lamb is one of the final pieces in that Harden trade that Presti might regret he might be tryna squeeze every little bit of value he can get for him before letting him go. My guessing is if Brooks was the GM then Lamb woulda been traded but Presti is and he view him as a asset still.

I was actually all aboard and very intrigued when the deal for Lamb and Jack was "all but done". I'm still intrigued, actually.

We already tried but Nets ruined it. The trade deadline is not for another week and a half. There has been no real trades yet but they will happen really soon. and no one ever said hes that good were saying he has the potential. What happened got bored over there on the Thunder board?

I don't think its pride over anything honestly. He was willing to trade him for Lopez, who I don't consider much of a good target. Brooklyn didn't want him either. I like the kid, wish him the best, but this is saying something to me.

Since you have seen him more than anyone on here can you give me a small scouting report on what you have seen from Lamb during his tenure in OKC?

Once he starts bashing everyone equally then I can say he doesnt have bias, Henderson can miss a wide open layup and its crickets, Kemba makes one mistake and its off with his head. Im not the only one to notice this. Maybe its not college bias but its surely something.

I've bashed Henderson as much or more than anyone on here. You don't know what the hell you're talking about. Get off my ass, its annoying.

If Lamb was almost traded for Brook Lopez then he must have some value. I mean Lopez ain't no superstar but he's something like a star in this league still in his mid 20's regardless if you consider him a good target. The only reason why Brooklyn is even considering trading Lopez is for consolidation purposes to avoid paying excessive luxury tax for mixed results, not because he's a bad player.
