I'm not worried about the Mavs but I strongly believe that the Blazers and Rockets will slide.

It's killing me waiting for the trade deadline and what's worse is there are no known rumors about us right now.
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

I don't care how good DeMarcus Cousins is. I don't want him on this team. Guy's a loser.

Don't worry as long as IT is here cousins won't come. Cousins hates IT!

Could be a interesting game tomorrow

I don't think the FO has the luxury of doing nothing. Lets just hope they do not do something just to do something. Trading IT would show a lot of confidence in making Dragic a lifetimer. And trading Dragic would sure show some stones. Moving the MoBros could be a self-policing sign to the rest. The rest of our guys are not going to bring back that much.

yup... might have to wait for monsoon season after all

Did you just go from there will definitely be a trade to it is impossible to have one in the same post? I was just going to thank you for making me feel a bit more optimistic. Way to go Frank....

This might be nothing but some of the Hornets fans would like Green on their team.

If you survived through the Michael Beasley, and Hakim Warrick times, you'll do just fine with Cousins.

No, I didn't like Beasley but I actually liked Warrick. I flat out HATE Cousins.

Dang I would love Boogie on this team! If we got him... I feel like it would be just like when we picked up Barkley.

Boogie is not gonna wind up here so I wont even comment on that. Harris is a talent I have wanted since befoe he was traded to Orlando... kid is legit but, dont wanna make him the next high paid shooter on this team. He is a scoring tweener small fwd with questionable defensive effort and if you are going to give the green light to a young sf it should be Warren.

I know its one game, but our starting lineup is in need of another scoring threat, and it may be time to reinsert Marcus back in the starting line up. He will help spacing because he is way more of a scoring threat than Tucker... and who is Tucker stopping anyway? Also simplifies our bench scoring role, Thomas , Green, and Marcus is too many bodies coming off the bench looking to chuck. Thomas and Green with another dirt worker in PJ woluld work better.

Other than Green for a pick nothing really sounds realistic. Can't really think of an attainable player who would be a) a significant upgrade 1-5 and b) under control financially. Obviously Cousins is being brought up but the Kings would fleece us defeating the purpose.

I'd still do Thomas, Tucker and Goodwin for Deng, McRoberts and Chalmers.

Sure we might be trading for 50 cents on the dollar, but it alleviates all of our rotation issues and puts guys back into the roles where they excel. Plus, we have at least two rotation players at each position, and at least one vet and one young developing guy at each spot too.

Goran
Bledsoe
Deng
Markieff
Len

Main bench: Green, Marcus, Wright
9th/10th: Chalmers, McRoberts

Development: Ennis, Zoran, Warren, Plumlee

- Deng is the vet presence we need to steady the ship. We get a couple good years out of him before Warren inherits his place. Great mentor for the young guys, too.
- McBob is a tough stretch PF that can rebound and could be a decent reclamation project after his recent injuries.
- Chalmers is a solid on ball defender who unlike our other guys excels when put in off ball, catch and shoot situations and not asked to do more than his abilities allow. He'd be good in the old Ish Smith role for 10 mins per night.

Miami gets sorely needed dynamic talent in Thomas, toughness at the SF in Tucker, and a project that could eventually replace Wade at SG.

F*ck the Heat. Let them rot. I don't want Chalmers or McRoberts. Deng isn't worth IT, Tucker and Goodwin.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

That's about as much money to Floyd as me buying my kids a Wii U for Christmas.

I'd like Deng and all, but i dont think he would push over over the top and make us true contenders. With that in mind, you also have to look at the fact that he only has a player option next season, and a somewhat cheap one at that ($10M). I think if we did trade for him, he would end up opting out and taking his talents elsewhere. If that happened, we just gave up some great trade chips for a full year of Chalmers and an overpaid often injured McBob long-term.

I'd pass.

Heck no to Chalmers. One of the worst PGs in the entire league this season. And McBob will never be healthy.

sorry, but I rather Suns stand pat than trade high potential players for mediocre declining players.... terrible.
