Bulls @ Magic - 5 pm cst - WGN

Post#1 » by Tetlak » Sun Feb 8, 2015 7:10 am

Bulls:

PG - Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
SG - Jimmy Butler
SF - Tony Snell
PF - Joakim Noah
C - Pau Gasol

Mike and Kirk out.

Magic:

PG - Elfrid Payton
SG - Victor Oladipo
SF - Tobias Harris
PF - Channing Frye
C - Nikola Vucevic

Simple has worked. Simple is good. Simple is 3-0. Much like our beloved Bulls, we don't need the bells and whistles. We just need to get back to the basics.

Hoping to see Tobes sitting out for this one. And someone from our team.

Noah has to take vucevic this time, I don't know why he didn't take him last time Noah usually defends the scoring big man.

If not it's going to be the same spanking as last time.

I'm expecting this thread to be filled with "trade for Harris!" type posts. Ugh.

While I would agree with the opinion that its somewhat off topic, its hardly surprising.

As executing a deal like that would be a hecuva lot more important to this team than winning one random regular season game vs Orlando.

Sure, but i'd prefer if the thread was just about the game and all the other trade talks that are relevant to the million other threads take place there.

It can't be controlled and i understand it, but just my 0.02.

Orlando, considered yourselves warned!
After Rose broke both his knees, I gave up on the hope that we'd make it to the NBA Finals again. It will probably be decades before we see another championship. Hello Treadmill, here we come.

It's the shoes!

I still don;t know what problem Tobias Harris solves...He does not shoot well from three and essentially plays a similar mid range game to Mirotic only with what I assume to be better defense at the SF position..

Uh oh. Vucevic obliterates us. A normal coach would make an adjustment and switch defenders - but Thibs doesn't believe in adjustments.

Magic 128, Bulls 104

Vucevic 37 points, 21 boards
Oladipo 40 points

This is an easy win but I don't want to see Pau guarding Vucevic, not a single minute. Nightmares.

I think Noah is still hurt...not sure if he will ever be a 100% throughout this season

I am consistently amazed all year at game thread comments like this after the season we are watxhing. The Bulls usual move here is to relax against a team like Orlando and get their teeth kicked in. Especially after a win. Decent test case to see how incorrigible they may or may not actually be after all they should have learned by now. And all Bulls fans should have learned by now. I will be stunned if the Bulls come out flat at this point, yet I have seen it time and time again.

I don't know, yesterday's second half felt like the Bulls finally were having fun out there. I think that is exactly what the team needed to remember from seasons past...I expect a new Bulls team out there. Hope I dont eat crow.
