It would. Doubt he comes to us though. Even though I think we could potentially revitalize his career. More so than the Mavs or any other team where he would only get 10 minutes a night. He could possibly be getting 24 minutes a night, maybe more depending on how long Len is injured for. I know Len's injury isn't too serious, but I also read an article where Len said he is getting tired because he's been starting and playing more frequently (basically this is his rookie season).

I don't think he would choose us, even if it meant he got to start. But if for some reason on he did, what number would he take?

Amare moves like he has wooden legs. But he could bring back the PnR. Only it would be the Pick and Meander
What ? Me Worry ?

Re: Around The NBA: 2014/2015
I'll never understand in my life why some people think Amare was such a great Suns player.
Yes, prior to his first max contract (followed 48 hours later by his first microfracture
), he was amazing at attacking the basket and showed some potential on defense.
Following his first max contract and knee surgery, Amare completely modified his game and started taking the 15-17 foot jumper instead of attacking the rim. He hit the shot regularly and thus his scoring numbers were comparable to pre-microfractue Amare, but he didn't effect the game like he did before because he no longer attacked the rim. He also stopped giving a **** about boxing out or rebounding.
We should have traded his lazy, egotistical, and cripped ass for Garnett in 2007.
Instead we let him walk when he demanded his next max contract because we knew is knee was a ticking timb bomb. We knew he was a knucklehead, we knew he didn't care about defense or rebounding, we knew he had no heart.
F Amare. If was had cashed out in 2006-2007, we may have had a ring by now pairing prime Nash and prime Marion with a REAL front court player.
Remember, we got further in the playoffs without Amare in 06 then we ever did with him. That's because rebounds (Marion) and defense (Marion), and leadership (Nash) win championships.

Amare was a man. One of my favorite players ever. I'd welcome him back in Phoenix.

Nobody has a fascination for ex players as much as Suns ' fans.
Westbrook had a poor shooting day but had 11 rebounds. When the shots aren't falling he still makes a significant impact.

Re: Around The NBA: 2014/2015
I dont think we need Amaré right now.
What would he bring to our team? Even more scoring power? a PNR threat to our guys that cant make a decent entry pass?
We need defense AND rebounding.

Perhaps because he wasn't nearly as athletic as he was pre-microfractre surgery so he had to evolve his game to suit his new body. He was still athletic but there was definitely a drop in lateral quickness and his 2nd jump. He didn't modify his game to suit his laziness, he evolved his game so he can still be dangerous even without his post-surgery.

We may also have had a ring by now if the whole Horry/Nash/suspension incident didn't occur.

It's tough to look back on the Horry/Nash thing, thinking we could beat another physical team after the Spurs series. Utah was very tough that year, and I just don't think we could have gone through back to back series like that. If we could, I think we could have won it all.
Man David out, and Blake, we could gain some ground if we play tough.

I wasn't really saying had that whole thing didn't happen that we would've won. Just making a counterpoint to Lukas suggestion that we would've won had we traded Amare for KG. We would never know because one thing or another happened or didn't happen.

Re: Around The NBA: 2014/2015
Sucks the Spurs came back to beat Indy after being down by like 14 at the end of the 3rd.
About 2007, we would have won it all easily without the suspensions, or Tim Donaghy...the Spurs got a ton of breaks in that series for their wins......those two, the bloody nose, etc. We would have walked over the Jazz and Cavs.
