Wilcox seems like he's the guy most likely to be able to do something similar to what J.J. does, I don't grasp why you don't start him right now, even if it is just for 5-6 minutes in the 1st and 3rd quarter

I've always hated this about Doc….
Wilcox is like our last chance to build some value into our team.
It would be nice to develop this kid and then send him off for a small return ala Bledsoe or something….or develop him and send off JJ. But if he doesn't develop, I think we're finished. That's it.
I dunno how many MLEs and Minimum players are going to make this team into a champion over the next couple years.

I agree with you. Every move Doc does sacrifices any long term (not in this season) aspirations we have. Bullock never got a chance to develop and Wilcox will probably suffer the same fate. Give Wilcox 20+ minutes until JJ comes back instead of later underselling him as a nobody.
