Another battle vs a strong west team. Looking forward to seeing Teague and Conley go at it.

I see the Grizzlies as a tougher opponent than GSW tbh. We beat them here but barely and without Zach Randolph. They have the best low post game in the NBA. That being said, I'd like a win, but it's gonna be tough.

We also played them before the Jeff green trade. Tonight is going to be a battle but I would never count these Hawks out against any team in the league.

Zach Randolph would look so good in a Hawks uni

"Live by the jump shot. Die by the jump shot."

Unfortunately we died tonight..

Horford was 2/11
Millsap was 2/10

The most telling stat of all was their number of offensive rebounds. Our next two are more than winnable games. We will be just fine boys.

Played toe to toe with a great team at their place. Not going to overthink this result. Millsap/Horford played very poor and we were tied with 2 minutes to go.

Didn't see the game. Was it just bad shooting for Al and Paul or good defense.

No shame in losing to these guys in their building. Memphis is maybe the last team anyone would want to have a playoff series with due to their sheer physicality.

It was a good and tough game for both teams. literally a playoff atmosphere to be honest. I think the game was sold out today. Normally the Hawks have a history of giving the Grizzlies problems due to their up-tempo style of play and the Grizzlies not having enough defense to slow them down. I came away impress with how the Grizz were able to keep Horford, Millsap and Korver to single digits respective and ATL's resilience to overcome the Grizz matching pound for pound.

Great game and wish your team the best of success the rest of the way.

Oh well, not a good game, but Memphis is a quality team and the Hawks played hard and were in striking distance for the most part and basically was a slug out to the end. Horford and Sap just had a bad night, but their isn't no shame in that, the NBA season is a marathon and the Hawks just need to prepare for the next game.

Their are a few positives. Teague played well again and the bench was really amazing tonight. The biggest stat that i can see is that between the four of them, Antic, Dennis, Baz, and Scott, combined, they only had 1 turn over.

I'd think if we signed demarre and paul for under market value deals it might send a good message to Marc. If mem gets out early and we go to the finals and lose I think is the best situation to sign him. Doesn't look like he's just hopping on the best team, looks like MEM fails him.
