One of the saddest episodes ever :(

I like the way this episode was made too. Very creative.

Was I the only one hoping that Tyrese would live and have a hook As a replacement for his hand? I think that would have been badass!

Thank you for killing off both Beth and Tyreese in back to back episodes. They've been two of the worst episodes in the series but they paid off. Time for Tara, Noah, and Shane's baby to bite the dusk next.

Hehe depends who you're asking. Can't wait for the crew to hang that dumb oversized stetson on his tombstone.

From a pure artistic standpoint, this was a very good episode... the director did a great job, as he put it, putting a jigsaw puzzle together for the audience.

That said... Show Tyreese was pretty terrible and devoting an entire episode, and a mid season opener, to it was pretty boring for me, personally... I don't follow the comics, and I hear he's actually pretty bad ass there...but on the show, they really killed the character. The actor did a good job with what they gave him, but damn it was painful to watch. You're probably the biggest guy out there, can go out into a swarm of walkers and kick all their ass...but you're going to be a complete and total pansy?! I don't buy it, maybe at first, but we are years into this thing and you've seen/done way too much to still not be able to do what is needed.

Anyways...thats my rant about Tyreese, very well executed episode, just didn't care enough about the character to want to devote the whole show to it. What I will say, is he was still way better than Noah so far...I just really hate Chris I guess

i was always a beth fan because i thought they'd grow her character, into something like Andrea from the comics. and after the talking dead with the actress when she was visibly upset\crying you cant help but think they dropped the ball with her

They dropped the ball with The Governor, Andrea, Tyrese, Michonne, and more. The Daryl/Rick bromance have made strong allies like Glenn, Tyreese, and Abraham seem like throw-ins in comparison to their comic counterparts. It really makes me a bit worried about how theyll handle Rick and Morgan reuniting.

That's a good point. I assume you're familiar with the comics; I am not. In my rankings above, I had Abraham really low because he doesn't do anything. But i vividly recall how the readers here were amped when he was revealed. Daryl and Rick should've really been one character. Or if anything the writers made Daryl too good, too infallible.

they keep trying to introduce the characters not as flawed but downright useless. at this point in the Apocalypse if you're alive you have some use or are not the type of idiot that goes running away from your giant hammer wielding protector
