Milwaukee Bucks

I don't think this team is receiving the recognition they deserve. 15-67 last season, and are currently 29-23 without their top pick, Jabari Parker. They've won 8 of 10 and are 7 games ahead of the 7 seed in the East. I would have had them pegged for at least 55 losses if you told me they only had Parker for 25 games this season. Kidd is doing a very underrated job, and is proving to be a pretty good coach so far.

I thought they'd be the surprise 8 seed this year before the season started. They're exceeding that & without Jabari. Which really is pretty insane.

Kidd would probably get CoTY if it wasn't for Kerr/Budenholzer

The Warriors were really good last year. I don't think anyone should be in the same conversation as Bud. What he's done with that Hawks team is just incredible.

They made a smart move recently inserting Henson into the starting 5.

Their outlook would be even scarier with a healthy, motivated, non-crazy Larry Sanders, but that situation seems to have reached the point of no return. If they had the 2012-13 version of his defense...crazy.

As it stands, they probably have the most young offensive talent (under 25) in the league right now between Giannis, Parker, Knight, Middleton, and even Henson (.600+ TS on low usage). Even Knight who I view as a very poor fit at PG with this core is a very talented individual scorer. I really think they need a different PG and a big who eats glass/defends, although I'm willing to give Henson another 110 games to see what he has. The Knight situation will be interesting in the offseason.

As a Bucks fan who sees most of their games, if you told me before the season they'd have this record with both Parker AND Sanders playing most of the season, I would have questioned your sanity. Even in the weak east what Kidd is doing with what he has is nothing short of amazing. Of course, the development of Giannis certainly helps, but he's only started scoring big lately. His all around game has been good, but it's clearly a team effort.

All I can say is I'm mad at the Blazers for picking CJ over Giannis... That dude is gonna be legit.

I really need to watch more Bucks games so I can better understand what's going on over there.

I'm very impressed. I lurked on their board the summer before last when they were 8th seed. Happy for their fans

Their D is great and they seem to play hard every game. J Kidd could end up being this generations Larry Bird.
