i'll be honest I thought this team was going to suck without Jennings but SVG really has this team playing good ball.

SVG is a great coach, Monroe is an absolute stud & DJ has played outstanding.

We can be this good with really nothing from our 2 & 3 position, its scary how good we could be if we upgraded those 2 positions offensively.

I agree! If we lose Moose this off season, we may never know tho. I think SVG might be willing to give him the max tho, so it will be up to Moose with what he wants to do.

I believe KCP will become a very solid player (I believe he will keep improving just as Dre has), Meeks has been looking a little better as of late too, so our SG might be set for a little bit.

We're not losing Monroe, I refuse to accept that now that he is finally free & playing the best bball of his career. He's way too vital to our future. He has to be enjoying himself for the first time in 5 years here currently.

KCP has been a disappointment offensively but hes been as good defensively as a wing can get IMO. I would personally love to upgrade & bring him off the bench in a defensive stopper role but if we upgraded our 3 to an All Star or near All Star shot creator who could also really shoot & we get Jennings (the post cutting the dipsh#t Jennings) back id be cool moving forward with KCP as the starting 2.

Very nice win. Both Piston bigs played very well. Stan got them going. What a great defensive coach!

I hope you're rite about Moose. I've been on the keep Moose over Smith bandwagon the whole time.

I just see glimpses from KCP that show he can become a very good offensive player (kinda like the glimpses from Dre that he can have a deadly hook shot sometime), i'm not sure if it will all come together for him, but he seems to be the type of person that is a very hard worker and it will eventually. I will admit I wanted the Greak Freak in that draft tho. I think he is going to be a star and would've been a pefect fit, especially if we never signed Josh.

This is first game I've seen Monroe actually lead the Pistons to a victory. Good win man! Monroe is slowly moving himself to a 5yr/65mil deal.

I noticed KCP had that Ben Gordon-off night again( 8-) ), it's cool though.

You miss the 20/20 he had against Denver?

You know, I was just thinking of that game bro. So, this is the second game he lead the Pistons to a victory. I guess Monroe is starting to grow-up!

I like your user name too man.

Thanks. Hopefully he keeps growing because we are going to need him if we want to make the playoffs.

KCP deserves respect around here. "Ben Gordon off night?" Shooting he was 2 for 6. When did Ben Gordon ever play 27 minutes and only shoot 6 times? The 6 rebounds, 3 assists and a block all helped in the winning effort. His perimeter defense is critical to Piston success. I'm trying to recall those great games where Ben Gordon gave us that all out defensive effort.

This comment is absolutely laughable or you just don't watch many games.
Monroe has been the most consistent player all year and virtually every year before this. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Neptune has a fascination with KCP being "Ben Gordon with defense".
I guess that's his way of saying KCP can be a streaky shooter at times maybe?? I don't know...

KCP is a smaller Kwahi Leonard IMO.

I wish Detroit could sign Leonard and re-sign Moose. That's my dream team.

Me too. Great balance and tenacious on Defense. I'm sure SA will match though

Yeah there's no chance of it happening sadly
It would be great if we could find a bigger KCP in the draft.

which is definitely possible, based on how prospects are being mocked currently.
