What i'm interested in knowing is where Ross will be playing in two years. Most likely in Europe or China.

I pointed this out in a previous thread, but ill do it again. Last year, Ross avged 11 points a game. This year its 10.5. Last year ross shot 42% on fga, this year he's shooting 42% on fga. Last year he shot %40 from three (probably an outlier/fluke to some degree), this year, oh no he's shooting 37%. Basicly, ross is doing the exact same this year as last year, statisticly, and people think he wants to jump off a cliff/his career is taking a nosedive.

Dumb question but what is he not doing now that he was doing in his mythical last season?

I have no idea why terrence ross' 2014 season is being hailed so much, what drugs are you on?

Edit: I am strange, not necessarily a ross fan tho :P

fwiw from what i recall he averaged about 14ppg last year after the Gay trade, which is a significant difference.

The biggest disappointment is not the offence tbh, he has been as bad or worse than Vasquez defensively lately. I think a lot of us had him pegged as someone who could grow into being an elite defender. Casey used to regularly assign him to the opposing team's quickest player and he would do a great job.

I've been looking around and came across a trade rumor on facebook and twitter. Terrence Ross, Greg Steisma and a first round pick for Kenneth Faried. I'm sure it's fake as I don't think this makes Denver jump but if we even humor this rumor, how would you guys feel if this was the offer?

I think people here are
Asking players to perform 50 points in 15 mins with 2 touches?

1) We are giving minutes to James Johnson, and limiting Ross' minutes, what is your expectation for someone with 15 mins?
2) We are asking him to play a position he is not comfortable of, and people still compare him as a SF? He is a natural SG, and he is not getting minutes for that position
3) We are asking him to run ahead, stay at the corner. He simply has no touches
4) Those who performs well/consistent has 5 years experience in the league (veteran)

If you look at the scoreboard, at least look at the minutes
Because Devlin says he has yet to score, when Ross doesn't even get a touch on 2nd half? People ask for Jonas to get some touches, who asks touches for Ross? Disinterest for a reason :nonono:

I am pointing out at Devlin, Devlin got to watch what he is saying, I don't see he says DeRozan's FG% nor Jonas, but keeps pointing out Ross when he has no touches. I think Devlin got to be careful with his biased opinion.

I don't think many said he was the next big thing.. but his play last year showed that he could be a solid piece on this team. Now this year he has regressed and the simple things he did last year that made him an asset are no longer there.

I agree a change of scenery may be in order but realistically his value is probable at an all time low and we won't be able to get much for him. This may be an instance of let it ride and hop things eventually 'click' for him.

Yeah I see the same thing, he can't drive past people because the defender will usually body him and he can't get past them.

It has nothing to do with his statistical production. He's never been someone who fills up a box score on a consistent basis.

Terrence Ross is most helpful to this team when he is playing defence, getting steals, and running / finishing in transition. Any offence he generates is gravy. Between Lowry, DeRozan, and Lou Williams, scoring isn't the primary concern for him.

For the past month and a half, Terrence Ross has seemed like he is coasting through the games. When Andre Miller drove by him for a lay-up, I was genuinely embarrassed for him. He looked outmatched on the court.

When he dropped that pass from Greivis Vasquez in transition, I saw something I hadn't seen before. Vasquez and Ross were both subbed out right after that play. Once Vasquez got back to the bench, he was fuming. He seemed visibly upset until the end of the game. I'm not sure if it was because Terrence Ross cost him a chance to finish the game or because Casey took him out, but I can't imagine he took too kindly to Ross' apathy on the court.

I think some of the players may be growing tired of his disappearing act.

We do need an upgrade, but his low motor tells me that new scenery won't help him. I also wouldn't trade him while his value is at his lowest. Just stuff him on the bench and use him as a 3pt specialist if the situation calls for it. He's around supportive teammates, so he may get it going again -- even if he can magically return to what he was last year, that would help us. But if there's a trade worth doing in the off season, I'd trade him then.

Remember when people said we should trade DD so Ross can start? Great talent-evaluating skills by those posters.

As much as I dispise TR's play, Ujiri doesn't trade players when their value is at an alltime low, as his track record indicates.
