Thank You. Been calling for this the past week. Would be an instant upgrade over our current PG's.

Re: Heat Have Explored Trade Talks On Jameer Nelson
I like it. Would like it even more if Afflalo also came back with him but it looks like Jameer has a stipulation that he can not be dealt with another player to the same team. Either way the Nuggets are probably looking at getting Cole(Expiring) and a 2nd. For Riley that is probably on the table right now but he will squeeze it till the deadline to see if something more favorable materializes for possibly Reggie Jackson.

Too little too late. Wanted him in the offseason when he was a free agent.

The Heat are trying really hard to get Afflalo. Jameer has made it known he want to be on a playoff team. He wants to be released, Miami may be telling Denver that they are will to take Nelson off their hands if they agree on a trade for Afflalo. Likely will not work.

Yeah that's probably not going to work. Cole and Hamilton for Nelson would be my perfect world deal. We get out vet PG and also open up a roster spot to use the DPE on Blatche.

Lol Riley may be losing his touch, said in the offseason that he'd be our best PG but he decided to sign Chalmers for whatever reason. He can't play a lick of D tbh but anything to rid Cole of this team at this point (if he can acquire him).

Re: Heat Have Explored Trade Talks On Jameer Nelson
It would be better that we go after Dragic (Bosh + Cole + Granger for Dragic + Markief morris + Mason Plumlee + PJ Tucker) and throw DPE at Blatch.
I like our chances going in the playoffs with :
Dragic - Chalmers - Napier
Wade - Tucker - TJ
Deng - Williams - Ennis
Blatch - Morris - UD
Whiteside - Plumlee - Birdman

We have very minimal to offer. Suns looking for rebounding help and a first rounder. Houston has the pieces to offer them that.

Lets give them 24 pts and 11 rbds Toronto Bosh and Napier (a 1ear old first round pick) then so we can have :
Dragic - Chalmers
Wade - Tucker - TJ
Deng - Williams - Ennis
Blatch - Morris - UD
Whiteside - Plumlee - Birdman

Re: Heat Have Explored Trade Talks On Jameer Nelson
Nelson alone won't do much for this Heat team. We got to give something to get something.
Blatch + Morris can replace Bosh production.
Dragic will improve the pg play by a long mile.
Tucker can give us some MUCH needed tuffness, size and 3 & D at backup SG.
Plumlee has young leg would allow us to rest Bird for a Playoff run.

Phoenix would play Bosh like they did with Amare.

I don't think he's the guard we should be going after, but whatever.

Re: Heat Have Explored Trade Talks On Jameer Nelson
I just looked up his contract, Jameer has a player option next year
Cole is an expiring. ITS PERFECT
but they might want to squeeze out a pick from us... I am not sure its worth it but oh well lol.
And Jameer expires in 2016. One thing with Jameer is he can feed the big man, and we know he can shoot from down town. He has been having a rough year bouncing around but once he's settled I think he can help us somewhat.
Bad defensively doh... but helps our offense...

I find it unfathomable that Riley would trade Bosh. Not that I would not be on board with a deal like that. Bosh had every chance to spurn Riley after Lebron left and take Houston's max deal. Bosh and his family are so deeply embedded into the Miami culture that Riley views him as a Heat Lifer at this point. Bosh has been picked on a lot on these forums but he his truly one of the best stretch 4's in the game. He is just not what you want him to be because you keep staring at his contract. The market said Bosh was a max player last year and that is what he got. They are plenty of players around the league that are earning max deals that are not worthy of them but are still very talented in there own right. Bosh is an elite fringe 2nd option. When Wade is on the court this team becomes dynamic because he is a true one option and everyone slides into there proper roles.
