BK? Put the drugs down little one.

Figured you were a native with all that flair. Brooklyn.

It was also a joke, since you called me childish. Name-calling and all. I'm having fun, and you gotta whip out the un-smiley face?

It's been a little dead in here for a while. No JDLAW insulting people. Everyone trying to trade for Greg Monroe... awful.

I knew you were joking. I am a native to NY, born in Mineola, but live in Minny right now. You have to admit that your mom comment to the other poster would make someone think you were being a bit childish, right? Plus you got an and1 from the Madman, so that must be worth something, like used gum under the desk.

Some GM is calling around to see the trade package that other teams would give up for Dragic, which might include a first round pick. I remember a few years ago, there was a story that described teams calling other teams about STAT and then it got to the Suns. :D
I am guessing that McD is looking to move a guard, not named Dragic or Bledsoe. If they do make a trade it will probably be a 2 for 1 with sweeteners being moved.

Yeah, he probably wants to move IT but will listen to Dragic offers. This team gets better just by subtraction of a guy or too (IT, Plumlee) and probably has a few more wins already and the rest of the season without them. Maybe they don't make the playoffs, but it does likely open us some playing time for younger guys if they want too.

Thought it was fairly clear in the recent interview with Babby that he's not only taking calls but making calls as well, doing his due diligence.

C: Noah (defensive player of the year)

SF: Jimmy Butler (21/7 top 5 defender on his position)
SG: Dragic (Scorer, versatile combo guard who can penetrate and lead transition among the best)
PG: Rose (Former MVP, who can still dominate in burst)
Sixthman PF: Gibson (Rugged aggressive defender)
Sixthman PG: Brooks (Very good scorer off the bench)
Sixthman PG/SG: Hinrich (Defensive combo guard with exceptional IQ)

Thats a pretty good boost Dragic can bring to them, especially when Rose is off his game, Dragic picks his offense up, the Bulls doesnt dip down.

Thats assuming Dragics game translates directly from a wide open no-shame offensive chuck fest in Phoenix, to a more disciplined defense oriented system in Chicago. He will have a clogged lane to navigate since neither Noah or Gasol space the floor making it harder to get to the rim. I don't think Goran is nearly good enough to play high level ball in any system he lands in.

He could be calling teams, and they list off who they would want. I'm sure Dragic's name has to come, even if Baby or McD bring him up.

With how McD does trades, I just can't see the logic of moving Goran for just a pick. It would have to be a few assets for a very good player. If Goran is part of that deal, then that would make sense because he is one of our best players.

Goran did very well in Houston with Scola. Gasol has the same range as Scola. And that is with Dalembert and Camby at the five. Seems fairly similar, no?

SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

How so?
He's an expiring contract look no further Rondo trade.

A 1st and minor asset seems reasonable.

It doesn't make sense to trade Dragic this year. If he wants our after the season, you hold on to him and sign and trade him on a max 5 year contract for whatever team wants him to get the most assets out of it.

Or you trade IT and keep Dragic. It's simple.

Ive given this option a lot of thought, its similar to the Amare Stoudemire trade to NY and Nash to LA.

Who has the leverage?
What if Dragic doesnt want to help Suns out?

And if so, that means Suns might be forced to take back some bad contracts.

and you can't do 5 yr sign and trades anymore. Only 4 yr deals allowed in the current cba. A sign and trade is possible to a team over the cap.

Its better for everyone if Dragic is not coming back next year to trade him now.

a.) S&T in the offseason can only be done for the 4 year max
b.) trading him now gives the team he's traded to bird rights so they can 5 year max him themselves.

I feel like he's going to Houston. Dragic/Plumlee for DMo/Terry/Pelicans First

and in my dreams
Then flip Terry/Pelicans first for Cousins. Len/Terry/Lakers First/Own 2016 First/Pelicans First for Cousins.

Bring back Amare

Cousins/Amare/Wright
DMo/Markieff
Tucker/Marcus/Warren
Green/Goodwin
Bledsoe/Thomas/Ennis

After what you saw from Cousins when we played them last and really how you see him every game how in the hell would you (or anyone) want him on our team? Plain and simple he's a piece of sh*t.

Yeah, Jordan was too. Kobe was/is a POS as well. Lots of the greats get that rap. Would i take any of those guys in their prime? HELL YES! Why? Because when it comes to what they do on the court, THEY GET S**T DONE!

Fact of the matter is Cousins is one of the most promising dominant bigs in the game. He is also former teammates with Bledsoe and they are friends. Cousins on the Suns would immediately boost us into contender status and we would remain there for years to come.

I'm not real sure the Rockets are going to want to pay Dragic $14 million or whatever either. When Harden is your primary ball handler do you want to spend that much on another one? That's probably why they are rumored to want Lin who would be cheaper. They got rid of him because they thought they had Bosh and needed that cap room, but after losing Bosh and not spending all that money on Parsons, they probably want a reasonably priced secondary ball handler or two guard.

As for Cousins, yeah, lots of teams want Cousins, including the Kings, which is why they locked him up on a huge deal through 2018.

Return to Phoenix Suns
