Dude the Cards have won how many Championships in a row??? Dude the Yanks have no pitching. he would be wasting away in Ne Yoorrrrrrr too. If he was on the Cards, Sox, Tigers, Mets, Angels, etc he would get Cy Young votes. You realize I'm just messing with you, right?
By the way 34celtic (and anyone else who has seen him at least 10 times in the past couple years) what are your thoughts on Bedard, just curious since you don't go by stats, and you've probably seen him a couple more times than me since he's in your division.

I think hes great. And because the Yankees don't have pitching he would be washing away. In case you hadn't noticed, since we got Pettitte (who has been solid all year), Wang, Moose, and Clemens all going together, with our offense we've been pretty damn hot. But how could pitchers possibly be washing away in New York. With that offense Bedard would win the Cy Young right now, wanna argue about that? Dude is a top 5 pitcher in baseball. He went to Norwalk Community College in Connecticut. He came from Canada....don't ask how a pitcher goes from Canada to Norwalk, Ct to The Baltimore Orioles. 3 Kinda crappy spots if you ask me. His fastball is decent but his mix of pitches is above average. He lets up more baserunners than you like but is able to pitch his way out of trouble because he strikes a lot of guys out.

PS If Adam Loewen can stay healthy and Daniel Cabrera can calm himself down they have a very good 1-2-3. They need some bats to go with their pitching because it isn't all that bad at all.
Im still curious though, bigboy. How would you figure a pitcher of Bedard's quality would rot in New York? A pitcher with an ERA in the mid 3's in New York is a lock to win 15-20 games if he stays healthy. Just don't dip under 3, ask Andy Pettite what happens then. You'll get bad luck and only win 10.
Which brings me to another point. If Pettitte had any sort of luck this year he may have 8, 9, or 10 wins by now.
