If I'm Philly, I say I will take Larry off your hands for this year's first, the clippers first, and Inglis. Take back AK and Richardson.
Go Bucks!

The only deal where Larry makes sense is going to Brooklyn, who we can't trade with anyways, for Joe Johnson, but I don't think the Nets do it without some incentive (hint Clippers first). And you've had to include Ersan for salary purposes.
I think Denver is a possible destination for Sanders (weed jokes aside). I think with incentive to take his contract like the LAC 1st, they'd entertain trade ideas if they were able to clear salary with the intention to buyout Sanders themselves. I know we've talked about Faried and his contract is long and steep but he's atleast an impactful player that we could use moving forward. Contract dispute aside, Farieds skill set and energy is almost exactly what this Bucks team is missing. It's just too bad he can't come at a much cheaper price. Maybe get a 3rd team involved to help shed Ersans contract, does everyone still hate Faried if we were able to dump Larry and Ersan and not take back additional salary? Is that even possible?
Bucks get Faried
Kings get Ersan
Nuggets get Larry (buy out) JT, Stauskas and Clips 17' 1st.
I guess add in whatever fillers are needed.
Is that even in the realm of realistic? I'm just spit balling ideas how to clear salary and make room for money that might actually help the team win now and later..

I doubt it, why would Denver move Faried? They'd want more or to offer less.
There is no possible Sanders deals, really is no point even pondering them. You guys are crazy if you want to attach value to do that, I'd let him sit out his contract before doing that.
We really don't have many valuable pieces that we will realistically trade as we're chasing the playoffs(Knight won't get moved, I doubt vets like Zaza or Dudley will either) and if we make a deal it will probably be a smaller win now one I would imagine. I
A guy like Miles Plumlee might be realistic

plumlee could be had for the clips pick. Heck phoenix might even throw in Gerald green. Both those guys are probably getting moved somewhere before Thursday.JayMKE wrote:weezybaby856 wrote:paulpressey25 wrote:I think that Ersan/JOB for JT/Stauskas deal is what I'd keep asking on, in the hope Karl thinks he needs a floor spacer 4 to "win now" with Cousins. Stranger things have happened than being able to trade a young player who's had a lot of issues but has shown the ability to be an elite defender.

Clearly u missed the part where I said I wasn't comparing Middleton to Harden. It was more of a comparison of most opinions on this board to Sam Presti... Might want to re-read my post...
The comparison makes no sense, none of the assets in trade are even close to Exum's potential and as you stated Middleton isn't even close to an OKC Harden. I think a similar trade would be the Suns doing Dudley for Bledsoe. The Suns lost a fine NBA player in Dudley and took a risk on Bledsoe but Bledsoe panned out.
Nah, sorry can't agree there. Bledsoe was 3yrs into his career and showed crazy promise behind CP3 as an actual NBA player. Exum has shown jack **** so far. Harden was 23 when traded like Middleton is now and he was traded for essentially Lamb who was a 19yo rookie. Sorry but your not gonna just throw out every young player that's ever been traded for a vet and act like it proves your point. Don't work like that at all. The parallels of your point are way far off base here. Exum and Bledsoe are/were nothing alike. Exum and Jeremy Lamb however at the time of the Harden trade are damn near spot on. And how exactly has that turned out for OKC?
Whatever it is not even worth discussing, you are the one comparing Middleton to Harden and Exum to Lamb lets just agree to completely disagree.

I wonder what it would cost to get Miles Plumlee, and if he is content to be a super role player? I have always thought he brought some value, and now Len has made him expendable.

Re: Re: Trade Targets (Trade Deadline 4 days out)
would cost a late 1st rounder. He's asked to be traded after losing his rotation spot to wright. The suns are willing to accommodate the request if they can get a 1st in return. They won't simply give him away though. If they can't move him at the deadline they will keep him until this summer as an insurance policy in case they lose wright to fa (they do plan on trying to resign wright).Villanoeyebrows wrote:I wonder what it would cost to get Miles Plumlee, and if he is content to be a super role player? I do not know what it would take, but how would everyone feel trading for George Hill to either start at PG next to BK, have BK come off the bench in a 30-34mpg Manu role, or even just have Hill off the bench for 25 or so mpg?

I would give up the Clips 2017 1st and Job for Miles, think he is a solid bench option big man for 15mpg or so. That could open us up to move our 2015 first in the acquisition of a 23-25yr old player who can piece into the core better than waiting for yet another player to gel (not saying I support this, but there are options like this out there that make sense long term). Would obviously also open us up to move Zaza to a contender for whatever asset we could get in return.

No to George Hill and no to Clips first for Plumlee. Both very low ceiling moves and I'm not moving a future first that we don't know value on for a bench guy.

heres mine. sanders/parker/ mil 2015 #1 for paul george
Minny obviously says no. But bucks would be legit, wiggins/Giannis would be insane together. Imagine the fast breaks their defense/Rubio would create

Give up every second first for 12 years and the picks in between the right to swap and I still do that.

Doesn't matter though, he's going to sign the highest available deal because he's a RFA.

Re: Trade Targets (Trade Deadline 4 days out)
If Phoenix would do LAC 1st for Plumlee then I'd do it. Cheap, under contract another year, still relatively young, has size, good athlete that can get out and run the floor, stays with in his role and doesn't try to do things he can't do. I think he'd be an upgrade over Zaza/Henson/JOB. Realistically the pick isn't going to be great, probably in the range of that you can just straight up by the pick so a guy on a bargain contract that can help us win the next 2 years would be a good use.

Really getting ahead of myself but damn I'd love him to say that, then sign in NYK and watch us win a championship while he loses in the big apple. Let's see which way it goes.

George Hill is a solid player, I'd do something like Bayless/Mayo/2017 Clips 1st/2015 Mil 2nd for Hill/Lavoy Allen.
Doesn't really make sense for the Pacers unless they are committed to getting their PG of the future this coming offseason.

Re: Trade Targets (Trade Deadline 4 days out)
I'm not that keen on Hill. He's a backup point guard, probably a better passer then Bayless but I wouldn't be giving a big part of our second unit plus a first for him. He's been injury prone aswell. That looks a bad deal to me.
