Unfortunately I'm pretty sure Melo heard about Stat just before the game tonigh, it showed. 

Melo wanted Stat to stay. Wow timing was nuts.

i'm hearing this is true. that melo wanted stat to stay and he heard he was gonna go. that and i heard something about a supposed injury that melo has. stay tuned.

I'm sad. Stat is a good dude. He's not some ghetto punk like JR or Shump. We didn't get to see the real Stat either. Well except for the first half of 2010. Sucks he kept getting hurt. But unlike Bargnani, he tried his hardest to come back asap. I really wished it would have worked out for him here. Just another sad chapter of this franchise.
