Lamb/Jackson is a value trade. If you can get those guys for a couple 2nd round picks you do it. Worry about the rest later.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Still makes no sense to me.

Ersan and OJ need to be gone for a player to be named later. We need a good big man and clearing Ersan and OJ's contracts is key for next year's cap.
Also throw Job3 in there for anything.

What are the chances they let those guys go for only 2nd round picks? Would be awesome but is unfortunately a pipe dream.

I would give up a lot to get JV on this team.

These posts were back-to-back. I'm confused.

Yeah, I haven't minded Mayo overall this year, outside of really sloppy ball handling, but if someone is offering an expiring for him I'd ship him.

I don't get why they hate Jonas so much. There have been so many games where he'd be beasting in the first half, only to sit most of the 3rd/4th quarters.

Re: Trade Targets (Trade Deadline less than 76 hours)
It says that Toronto is seeking a "superstar" in return for a Ross and JV package. I don't really see any superstar types getting traded but they could have our 1st next year and any combination of players they want besides Giannis and Parker for Valanciunas.
There's no way they're trading him though, it would be absurd.

I think we hold onto mayo. Next year his expiring will be a nice assett, however, if they can dump that salary this week for an expiring, do it!

He's been useful from time-to-time this year, but just as often he's been just another "guy" If you can move him in anything resembling a favorable deal, I think you pull the trigger without a second thought. His skills should be more easily replaceable than some others of the vets.

Me neither and even if there were any on the block, those 2 guys alone are not worth a "superstar".

I believe the first one is referencing Reggie Jackson the retired baseball player, and the second is referencing Reggie Jackson the basketball player. So you know, then it makes sense, although I can't find any information about how OKC acquired the rights to Reggie Jackson the baseball player. Must have been a PTBNL type deal that slid under the radar.

TOR IN: Cousins, Thompson, Stauskas
SAC IN: Val, Ross, Amir, Hayes, Hansborough
I would think it would have to be some kind of deal like that.

How about this. I am a little mixed on the trade but is an option.
Fields is expiring I believe, and we get Ross and Valanciunas that can help us "long term"
Then do another trade with Mayo or keep him.

Raptors would say no so fast to this.

Yeah, that's the kind of deal I would expect them to try for with JV. With their position in the conference they're not looking to move him for draft picks and complimentary pieces, which is about all we can offer.
