I would like the Suns to sign him. I think he's what the team needs. Someone who has been to the playoffs, played important minutes down the stretch, etc. Is Amare exactly the kind of vocal leader you want? No, probably not. But he brings experience this team is sorely lacking. I think he also demands that we begin operating more pick and roll/pick and pop which I've been SCREAMING for. I think Goran and Amare make natural PnR/PnP partners and it might go a long way to helping Goran find some offense for himself.

I know defense has been pointed out as a weak point for Amare, and no denying that, but Amare has NEVER played with an athletic shot blocker like Len or Wright (Or heck, even Plumlee). The closest he got was Steven Hunter and they rarely shared the floor. Further, there really aren't many premier post players in the league anymore (Cousins, Duncan, ZBo....that's all I can really think of), and Amare would more often than not be playing against bench bigs, meaning his defense is a little less crucial.

Finally, on the rebounding, I can't remember where I heard it, but someone mentioned Amare's per minute rebounding numbers would be second best only to Alex Len on the team right now, meaning even if he's not a premier rebounder in the league, he's still an upgrade from what we have at present.

So, with that all said, and him likely being a vet minimum contract, I can't really see a downside.

Amare tip? LOL he wouldn't even pay his bill.

That said... I wouldn't mind him back here with this team off the bench.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

I have a feeling Amare will be a Sun pretty soon and lead us to the playoffs. Suns will upset the Warriors because Amare is gonna beast on their frontcourt.

I don't think so, but at least he can be a good bench player and he knows the organization.

They fixed Jermaine O'Neal and he was toast for two seasons. Anything is possible.

Mavs athletic staff(Casey Smith) is also very good.

What I wonder is... how would Amare fit on the Suns? Who would be traded or bounce of the rotation to make room for him?

Yah right, stoudemire is gonna come here for sentimental reasons. Our team is going no where fast; he's going to a contender and that's it. If we'd done something better in the offseason, maybe right now we'd be fighting for a solid playoff seed and then maybe amare might have come here. We didn't so he won't. I'm waiting for the imminent trade cause as it stands this is a complete disaster of a season.

Thank goodness he's going to the Mavs. It would be an absolute circus atmosphere if came back to the Suns. Im glad we never really went after him that hard. A token call to his agent to wish him well, then back to the phones trying to drum up a trade to make this team better.

You make it sound like he might have come here. No chance.
