Really happy for Amar'e, like another poster said, he deserves a lot better than us Knicks fans. Guy came in and in only his first season gave us the most exciting season in a decade. Sucks that he had so many injury issues but not one person here could say that he didnt give it his all to get back on the court and contribute the way he used to. Not many players would be willing to go from having a MVP season to being a bench player and basically retooling his whole game in just one season. Injury after injury the guy gave it his all to get back on the floor and thats something everyone should appreciate, especially due to our history with players who failed to do so. He wasn't an Eddy Curry or Jermone James or steph, he was someone that put the team first, and for that he became my favorite player. However unfortunately it came to a point where it was so hard for him to stay on the court that us fans decided to nitpick and criticize him every little opportunity we got. I know most of you aren't, but I'm extremely grateful for what Amar'e brought to this team. When Phil talked about changing the culture of the Knicks, Amar'e was the one to do that even before Phil came on board. Thanks Amar'e and good luck!
