The money. He looked like the type of clown that'll get a little money and start playing corny.

Bench him the rest of this season. Give him the offseason to get it together. If he return playing up to the level he played in Indy he could get back in the rotation. If not then at least he's basically expiring. Cho was wise to sign him to a very short contract.

It's always nice to hear that someone you just signed in the off season has apparently lost his hunger and it's the all star break. What a loser.

I get that money changes people. Athletes are not immune to this by any means. I am not one to judge an athlete on getting extraordinary life changing money and not doing the little things as hard as he should. If I won the lottery the hell if I would give a damn about my job as much as I do now.

With that said, the hunger comments and the Brooklyn vs Charlotte comments are **** bull. I'll defend Lance on most, I tend to probably defend talent more than I should, but this is absurd. **** that guy for these comments.

Really disappointed in Lance. You can tell he's a sensitive guy, he just needs to accept this challenge and block everyone out.

Just disappointing. Maybe he comes back from the all star break a different man

I find it very disturbing how Lance continues to state how it would be such a blessing to play in Brooklyn, but basically he is in Charlotte now and it is what it is.

Paraphrasing of course, but thats what I got out of it. Do whatever you can to get rid of this moron before he implodes. Hes more than likely hasn't flipped out yet trying to behave holding out hope that Billy King will trade for him anyway. I can foresee his behavior going down drastically after the trade deadline if he isn't dealt almost forcing us to buy him out.

Yup. We'd be buying him out either this year or next year. I have no idea how some people still have faith in him being what we need. Even if he turned back into Pacers Lance he still wouldn't be exactly what we need and he's far from that. We were banking on him becoming a better player than he was for us to be successful and that turned out to be what look like his peak on a team that everything going right for them until they put the ball in Lance hands because he/they thought he got snubbed as a all star.

Lol. Could you imagine what would happen if Steph Curry said how much of a blessing it would be to play in Charlotte, but right now hes in San Fran so thats just the way it is or something like that?

ESPN would be all over that asap. You don't say stuff like that. It looks bad and makes the player look stupid. Get rid of his ass.

I don't think it will be bad if we end up keeping him. It seems he only mentions them when he is asked. It may get better after the deadline because those questions will stop.

He can't implode any further than this. There is still veteran leadership on the Hornets and a coach who has won the respect and trust of the clubhouse. His personality will never dominate the team culture. He has been limited to the 2nd unit. Now the team added Mo Williams to limit dependency on the offense running through Lance. He has been about as marginalized as he could possibly get. He has to earn his way out of this or flatline.

I've only seen Mo in the one post-trade interview but it was a long interview and I was struck by his collected demeanor and sturdy temperament. Mo is grown.

There is mutual interest within some elements of the Nets' front office in Lance, so I don't see his comments hurting us there. The fact that he was so open and honest about his desire to play there probably helps us to be honest. They're looking at some bottom of the barrel years very soon in Brooklyn unless they can attract free agents. A nationally known local guy who loves his city would sell a lot of tickets, it's a good move for them regardless of his baggage.

Yea, Mo is grown enough to 2-piece Lance if he start bitching and moaning about not getting the ball, sulking his shoulders and stuff. Players like that stop getting the ball from me on pickup games. I'm sure it's the same in the NBA because the Cavs started doing it to Waiters.

Watching him in that interview I actually got quite a different impression as to how Mo would handle conflict. I actually got the sense he profiles as someone who would be a mentor and big-brother type. He seems genuine and really good natured. I can see how he and Al are such good friends. Al has a really likable personality and he's good natured. Selfish on the court but good natured and a good teammate.
